401k match reduced
It looks like the rumors were true. Employee match on retirement was reduced to 3.5%. That flew right under the radar.
Minimal/no raises or bonuses. Employee match ~50% of what other large companies offer. RTO wasted time and expense for no reason. No major benefits. Even OnePass has become outrageously expensive. From a FORTUNE 3 company. Absolutely disgusted.
Any Sears pensioner here?
If you were qualified for a pension from Sears how do you go about collecting it? I know there is PBGC. I would like to hear from actual Sears pensioner. Thanks.
Merit Increases
What’s everyone getting? Checked the benefits life insurance update and only getting under 1% this year. JG5 Canada
401K Yearly contributions
Does any know when will CITI match our 401K 2025 contributions?
Cigna 401k
At this rate, I will not be surprised if Cigna starts taking away some perks like 401k match.
Cigna might start reducing match %, freeze 401k program for sometime or even completely remove 401k benefit to force people to quit.
What do I do with my adi club points?
Not with the company anymore, I have tons of adi club points and obviously prefer not to spend money I don't make anymore (especially for adi stuff).
Is there anyway I can get rid of them for some value, other than whatever is currently offered (sorry I found these offers to be so useless). Has anyone figure out a way to trade them or exchange them for actual products or monetary value of any kind?
Thank you. I hope everyone in this situation is hanging on. Take care.
Health Insurance
If I quit April 3 but not start my new job until May 1st, am I still covered by Wells insurance until end of April?
QLE (life changing events) for insurance
Belk’s corporate h.r has given 100% inaccurate information about adding my husband to insurance based on a life changing event. If you rely on medical insurance from Belk you may have to consult an attorney for accurate information. Belk’s corporate Human Resources is astonishingly uniformed, uneducated and incompetent.
Vz 401K
FYI if u have Verizon stock in your 401k and choose to select cash instead of dividend reinvestment it gets treated as regular income when the dividend pays.
Just like this coming Monday.
Even though it’s coming from the 401k.
No penalty and depending how much stock you have can add up.
Just saying
401k lawsuit against TRP?
Anyone else seen this before? Regarding possible violation of employee rights in TRP 401k plan?

At least…
At least there was severance provided. So many employees this year got fired for cause (so no benefits no severance not eligible for unemployment). Does the company su-k for this? Certainly. Will they repost our same jobs for 80% less in 6 months. 💯. Take your severance and run. This bank is a sinking ship.
Has anyone used the company’s student loan assistance program?
Is it actually helpful?
Severance Plan
Who from Uniti could tell us what the severance plan was? The Win one was awful.
Retiree benefits
If you were laid off in this last round and had 36 or more years does Verizon give u any kind of discounts for medical after the severance period runs out
Watch your 401-K Match
If you have been recently laid off or left on your own, double check your vesting amount especially if you Rollover your account. I was fully vested as I had been with TD a long time past the vesting requirement before I left. I received an email in December telling me I needed to rollover my account or make an election by a certain time period or my account would be closed and I would basically receive a check for the balance. I rolled it, but then I was missing a large sum of money which was the match portion as if I wasn’t vested. I called Fidelity and they agreed I had been vested for awhile and they reached out to TD to refund me. I’m still waiting on my money and following up. I’m hoping I’m just a clerical error, but I just wanted to throw a heads up in case I’m not.
Were they actually funding your grad degrees ?
Im doing online grad school this fall thats just about a year and I was just curious if dell Deadasss does help financially with the tuition ?
Humana 2026 Analysis Summary
Humana 2026 Outlook: Financials, Retention, and Compensation
Company Health & Financials
As of January 2026, Humana is in a "rehab" mode, focusing on a transition from aggressive expansion to profit-focused stability.
• Margins: Targeting a move from 1% to 2% pre-tax margins in Medicare Advantage.
• Market Adjustments: Exited 13 Medicare Advantage markets and 198 counties, impacting approximately 500,000 to 560,000 members.
• Star Ratings: A current headwind, with only 20% of members in 4-star plans or higher, though recovery is expected by 2027.
Employee Retention
• General Sentiment: Humana remains in the top 25% of large companies for retention, though RTO mandates are causing friction.
• Workforce Changes: Implementation of limited layoffs and voluntary early retirement packages to "right-size" the organization.
• CenterWell: Clinical staff show high mission-based satisfaction but report challenges with work-life balance.
RTO, Compensation, and Bonuses
• Return-to-Office (RTO): A 3-day in-office requirement for most corporate roles is leading to turnover in remote-heavy departments like Tech and Admin.
• Compensation: Annual merit increases are averaging 3.0% to 3.2%. "Skill-based pay" offers higher premiums (4-5%) for AI, Actuarial, and Clinical Management roles.
• Bonuses: Performance-Based Incentives (PBI) are now heavily tied to the company's 2% operating margin target and Star Rating recovery.
• Benefits: 2026 updates include eliminated copays for in-network mental health, modular benefit options (e.g., trading perks for HSA contributions), and an emergency savings match program.
Union passed proposal today
Anyone hoping for more than 3-3.5% raises needs to look elsewhere for a job.
Medical likely to go up by 25-50%
Today I got a bill for supplemental life insurance
I got a bill in todays mail from Vz Benefits for $600 (for spouse and dependent supplemental life) requesting payment. I checked the Vz RIF FAQ doc on this and it reads "you may also continue supplemental and dependent coverage...." but I never elected to continue this coverage once I was RIFd. I suspect some of you will also receive such a bill.
VRP vs. JE Benefits
Can someone explain the differences in what you are offered if you take the VRP vs what you get if laid off?
Can you get severance and unemployment?
The benefits book severance section confuses me. It makes it sound like Wells Fargo will adjust or reduce your severance payment amount if you also collect unemployment. Does anybody know for sure? I’m in Oregon.
401k after employment
I was left a voicemail from a phone call from a personal phone number saying that he was from Wells Fargo 401k Plan and that they received a change in the status of the account.
I'm not sure if this is a phishing attempt.
I can log-in and everything seems fine. From my understanding I could keep the funds in the account.
When I call the phone number from another phone I have, I am greeted with "Thank you for calling Empower. Your call may be recorded..."
Was it scam call?
What is the most optimal time of year to retire with rule of 75?
I guess the best time to retire was yesterday. If I want to maximize the amount RSUs I receive, when is the best time to retire? After this years RSUs are received?
Is it the same severance?
Nothing has been reduced, right?
What's keeping you here?
They keep taking and taking and never giving anything back. We've lost so much in the past several years, from relative job security to benefits to normal culture and so much more. So is there anything left that's keeping you here outside of the cr-ppy job market?
Loss of Productivity
I was reading this Wharton article about how small slights from employers cause a loss of productivity. link to article: https://penntoday.upenn.edu/news/penn-wharton-when-employees-feel-slighted-they-work-less
PNC better get ready for this on a grand scale. Obviously, RTO increases costs for employees (parking, gas, additional child care, loss of time because of the commute, the list goes on). But we’ve also lost our personal day out of nowhere, HSA wellness contributions have gone down significantly, and rumor has it that bonuses will leave a lot to be desired. All in one year. This company is ran by CLOWNS. I encourage everyone to use every second of every occasional absense day in 2026. Don’t work a minute past 5pm. Don’t even think about logging in on the weekend. They take, take, take and only give back to the C Suite. Don’t give them anything more than the bare minimum, because PNC sure isn’t going to give you anything.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona has had layoffs as of early January 2026.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona has had layoffs as of early January 2026 and cut benefits to current employees.
COBRA Rx Cost
Recently had my prescription refilled at CVS. Price was double that of my December refill. Pharmacist said probably due to starting COBRA in January. FYI.
Negotiate severance?
So hearing the severance situation is at least 2 months garden pay, possibly another 8 weeks on top of that and 2x weeks for each year of service; at least from two other threads on here. Has anyone heard of the ability to negotiate for more pay and/or at least getting health benefit as longer (or a COBRA payment for say, 6 months)?
Flex Time equals vacation loss
It looks like we have lost our full year's vacation if xerox sells or breaks up the company. We are not garenteed anything past the day there is a reorganization.
Is this how it is or can someone clarify?
Former AIG employee
Long story short, I left AIG for more $ and to expand on my insurance knowledge with different lines. AIG actually has the best PTO benefits out there the pay raises su-ked from my experience. I am looking to come back to AIG. What is the chances I would be hired back being a former employee and fully remote like it used to be?
PNC RTO facts (repost)
Bonjour les amis.
Ever since the original post on 12/3 and the news attention that followed, there has been an influx of bad faith posters (executive leadership) on every subsequent post addressing the RTO situation. I wanted to take this opportunity to organize and present my fellow employees with some facts about PNC, its leadership, and the financial aspects of this move.
It is no secret that many large corporations have been enforcing RTO mandates as a "soft layoff," hoping that these no-exception policies reduce enough headcount to avoid the potential bad press of an actual RIF. With PNC specifically, there are some additional financial benefits they are kind enough to pass the cost off to you!
Out of the 55,000 people employed by PNC, 11,000 are local to Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas.
They own a large chunk of downtown Pittsburgh between Tower, One PNC, Two PNC, Three PNC (like a Dr. Seuss book of tax evasion!), and Firstside.
Additionally, they own many of the parking garages, which cost nearly $20/day or $180/month, and the food courts ($10 salads, yay!). PNC also receives a kickback due to its role as the primary bank of nearly every business in the area.
Simply put, there is a direct financial incentive for PNC to enforce an RTO mandate on all employees in the Pittsburgh region.
I mean, can you blame them? With the economy the way it is, they must be taking such a loss just supporting our poor souls.
In 2022, total revenue was $20.64 billion; $20.75 billion in 2023; and $20.77 billion in 2024– a 10.77% jump in Q4 of last year alone. Any "loss of productivity due to remote work" is a classroom rumor rather than anything based in fact.
Let's take a look at employee experience. We see a stagnant wage growth with 1-3.5% raises and pitiful bonuses, leaving us poorer year after year as we watch cost of living costs skyrocket; additional stipulations being put on employees to reduce rising through TSR levels; terrible health insurance that costs more out of pocket than any job I have worked in my life for the lowest high-deductible plan; and a worse 401k match and retirement plan than any other bank.
How are our fearless leaders doing? Well, in 2024 (public information disclosed by PNC filings)
William S. Demchak - 23.7 Million
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Robert Q. Reilly - 6.8 Million
Exec. VP and Chief Financial Officer
E. William Parsley, III - 7.8 Million
Exec. VP and Chief Operating Officer
Deborah Guild, Exec. - 5.4 Million
VP and Head of Technology
Alexander E. C. Overstrom - 5.3 Million dollars
Exec. VP and Head of Retail Banking
As you can see, they are also struggling to get by.
The question is posed: What is there to be done? Do we just shore up our resumes and start applying elsewhere?
If that is an option for you and it leads to a better life, absolutely. But for those of us that can't nor want to give PNC the satisfaction of a successful soft layoff to compliment their acquisition of First Bank, there is a better way.
Unionization is the only way we will ever take back any control over how this org treats us. Complaints to management fall on deaf ears because at a certain level those complaints will always be drowned out by another multi-million dollar stock option. HR is there to protect the company, not you. They will not give a damn about your life situation or even doctor-recommended accommodation to continue your WFH lifestyle.
Management is getting scared; they are avidly searching for people interacting with this site or posting about the RTO policy online. While you should protect yourself, remind yourself that this fear stems from the effectiveness of unions and the bargaining power that can be gained from a collective.
Don't suffer alone. Don’t fade off quietly as you watch what you have claimed back for yourself and your loved ones be su-ked away by a pointless commute. You do not live to work for these people. You work to live your life. The conversations that have taken place online over the last 2 months have gotten the attention of union organizers for Better Banks.

Even for those that do not care about this mandate, I urge you to join your peers and take back the profit of your labor. You have nothing to lose but your chains.
Unionize now, solidarity forever.
Benefits Cut...to pay Hans
As an employee....My medical insurance is more expensive and my prescriptions dr-gs cost much more now in 2026....I am barely getting by now this.....I guess they had to figure out a way to pay Hans and the executives on the backs of the workers....the money has to come from somewhere....now I know why people say eat the rich....so unfair...the rich always get richer at the expense of the average person just trying to get by.
Severance details
What's the pay at SVP level? 60 day notice + 10 or 12 weeks pay?Do they pay for any carry over vacation + accrued vacation for the year?
BENEFITS DEPT REDUCTION?
Has anyone heard of benefits dept being offshored? I’ve seen 2 posts on linkedin since yesterday from people on benefits team looking for next opportunity.
If I switch from VZ mobile and am still paying for devices.....
It was difficult enough to figure out when I worked for VZ how getting the promotional 'free' new devices worked, but they are definitely not free and I've been paying what I was subsequently told was a discounted rate for them. Glad I get 50% off my mobile bill because I'm still paying $200/mo.
If I were to switch carriers now, I'm sort of assuming I would be handled like a non-employee customer and my entire device balance becomes due? I couldn't get a clear answer out of customer service today as to how much I would owe which is my typical experience with them. I looked through all 8 zillion severance docs and couldn't find any mention of this.
Wonder if TMOB is still offering to pay off devices. I mean I like my VZ service especially for international travel, but I don't like the $200/mo bill now that I'm unemployed. I also don't know if this would get rid of all the plans like $5 Neflix or if that's tied to my FiOS account. We sure don't make things easy or transparent for our customers. Well, ex-we.... I need to stop thinking like I still work there. After so long, it's hard to switch off that way of thinking.
Cobra coverage
As a single person still working but looking to retire in the next year or two. Can I please get some feedback on what you’re paying for Cobra for 1 person
Thank you
Offices in Optum circle
Was in the office today. Oh how life has changed. The offices used to be inspirational and loved way people connected. Now the atmosphere is very negative and all the benefits of cafe are gone.. anyone feel the same way?
