Anyone surprised? I'm not. This place is an inept joke. What are the worst management decisions you've seen this past year?

I really hate seeing the stock fall this hard because we all know what usually comes next when the numbers keep heading in the wrong direction. If things do not turn around soon, leadership will almost definitely start leaning on layoffs again just to make the balance sheets look better for a quarter or two. Mark my words, they always reach for the same playbook when the stock starts tanking.
I’m sure this isn’t a good sign about preventing future RIF
hold on, it's going to get rough
Is anyone else finding this damage control session to be hilarious? Yeah, let's blame the stock price on everyone else but TR
PS
Stock analysts now recommend buying TR. Duh, after 30% discount
Q3 results "Revenue of $1.96 billion , up 28.3 percent, or 27.0 percent in constant currency"...."Operating cash flow of $159 million, up $43 million year-over-year.
Free cash flow(1) of $131 million, up $24 million year-over-year."
These are all up, yet everything else is down. "Headwinds, inflation, uncertain government blah blah" stock is tanking, entire company is on yard sale duty, your coworkers are disappearing.
Why do these numbers not add up?
Skimming off the top? SLT stowing extra cash away? What is happening?
The massive cuts and all the cheerful announcements haven’t helped the stock much.
What kind of Accounting is Krabanaugh doing?
Does anyone normal think it's worth over 300 a share? I would not be surprised if he is cooking the books. Remember he said the quiet part out loud when he said he wanted to reach 300 at a F&O All hands earlier this year.
And if IBM is really valued that much, why all the RAs?
Hilarious - just think of all the SLT who have been building up their financial future on their stock awards.
As these were over $27 not too long ago, given a stock price of $2.70 today, their ‘stockpiles’ are only worth 10c on the $ now.
Oh, what a shame.
I worked for IOL for close to 20 years, and I hardly ever saw the stock price touch $50 CAD. It was a bad idea to invest in IOL, so sold all my IOL stocks in RRSP. Bad decision!! But who knew this will happen!!
Nothing like a layoff and getting g F’ed by the stock price at the same time. I’m sure there are some like Uncle Larry taking it to the bank.
In stock value in just three weeks, what’s going on in round rock
That is what chatGPT told me. Ansys never had a mass layoff but Synopsys did a few times in the last a few year.
The merge was good initially if you sold all of your Stocks a few days after the merge. Otherwise, you lost 30% minimal.
The AI market is ORCL’s golden goose and they are betting the farm on it. Diversification is the way you survive in tech. ORCL down 110.00 from 2025 high. That means oracle clown employees that thought it was the best thing since sliced bread lost tons the last 8-12 weeks. Good. That’s what you, esp mgmt, get for laying off so many good people. The worst run company in the world. You could be be lacking 90% of your brain and be a director at Oracle. Hahahagahag
Why is the stock sinking today? Are there any major negative news? Are we in danger?
Any insight from the water cooler?
Will this breath life into APA?
Every major index is at all time highs, and AT&T can’t even catch a tailwind. The stock is a DOG, and nobody’s buying what Stinky’s selling. The Street has zero confidence in this leadership team or their “strategy”
Face it, this stock stanks.
There was a post earlier today about the stock price tanking, the Stank’s inability to boost the price, etc. I see it was deleted. Sometimes the truth hurts, but I’m guessing it’s also a sore spot for the company.
A bit more than 15% cuts across the board. Every team is affected.
The total will be just shy of 20K.
They will have another round in Q3 2026.
The stock will go up. Our ability to grow revenue will go down.
This is just my gut feeling, I am not basing this on any insider information.
Looks like the shareholders are OK with Imperial Oil. I guess from a shareholder perspective, the company is doing OK.
Employees don’t want it to be like this too. After all, our pensions are tied to the company, and some of us will still get their salary from this company.
Don’t want bad for anyone, so happy to see that the stock price is going up.
I saw this today via a Google alert.
"Market attention recently turned to ongoing reports about DXC exploring strategic alternatives. Some analysts have noted renewed takeover interest from private equity groups, which likely stirred price volatility and new speculation about its true value."

When you listen to leaders that sound disjointed and are so rattled they can't even hold a train of thought.
Jeez.
CIGNA stock price in 2010 was around $32 per share. It skyrocketed to near $300 as of November 2025. Amazing what guaranteed taxpayer support can do for your stock price.
What happens when ACA goes away? Free market capitalism!
At what point are heads going to start rolling? It feels like it will never get any better.
It’s pretty clear that there is a direct correlation between the company turning its self around and the non viable employees being thrown over the rails.
That there is a direct correlation between the stock price and the continued turning of the ships heading.
The Farther it turns, the more employees that then go overboard, the greater the stock price..
Looks like the business world, likes what Kate’s doing!
Looks like the internal folks are losing out to the mercenary contractors.
You know the people who get paid for their results vs those who get paid to be a demographic..
I thought all our strategic plans and moves were put in place to help drive the stock price up. So, why is it so far down?
Considering most of us are stuck, when do you think the stock will recover ?.
Even insiders are not buying at these prices, that's the concerning part.
If really talented CEO should not choose layoff to show money
He needs to guide the employees how to increase stacks value and how to increase customers to come VZ network
Layoff and show money as company growth any one can do for that we dont need talented people normal people can do this
eam
It’s been five years since John Stankey took over as CEO in July 2020, when AT&T’s stock was around $23 a share. Since then, it’s dropped as low as under $15 and today it’s barely above where it started, roughly $24.
Five years. Billions in spending. Countless reorganizations. Massive layoffs. Zero value returned to shareholders or employees.
How does this guy still have a job? At what point does the board finally admit this isn’t working?
If this is what “leadership” looks like, it’s no wonder morale and performance are at rock bottom. The numbers don’t lie it’s time for real accountability.
The stock was at $240 and no one complained? Me too.
When, oh when, will the Board fire this clown 🤡
Lots of buzz on this or they might end up selling one of the two - Merchant vs Financial - lucrative stock price!!! save the ship from sinking while Franky and his gangsters sip some luxurious wine, watching sunset from his beachfront villa , laugh it out on hard working associates who are about to be RIFd big time !!! What a shame s**ky Franky
Under 63 today. Everytime the stock gets a little love and hits around the 72 mark, it falls back down to below earth. Market is at an all time high while nike is reaching 5 year lows. Unbelievably horrible performing stock. When will this change? The days when it hit 170 seems like a lifetime ago.
What's going on with stock price?

CAmt be an activist shareholder when your exitsing stock holding will be worth 37% of your original hold! Give them credit, they made money on their investment. And no responsibility or moral obligation to remain inveted wuth this hot steaming mess.
