I keep seeing post about RIF's / layoffs / etc, but wondering if those have more to do with local field maintenance technicians and not Building Automation staff.

I haven't heard of anyone in the few hundred people I deal with on a monthly basis getting let go. I'm not based out of any major hub.

While we don't know exact count, rumour and water cooler chats are a buzz about ~1k cuts at each location / BU.

Majority of these are are level 6,7,8, squad leads, scrum masters and few 4,5 to make it seem random "business strategy alignment"

So with Edmundo moving on to greener pastures. Any ideas who will be taking his place? I have heard Dave Marino is in the running to pick up where Edmundo left off. Let's hope this is true.

Talked to two Grade 8’s - both in FI, who are extremely confident that there will be some sort of RIF this month, maybe 11/18. Sounds like a sizable cut.

Anyone else ever receive a request for feedback about their Manager/Director from the VP of the chain of command? I received a request but no one else on my team received one. Wondering if this is a screening for them or for me ahead of the rumored January layoffs?

I know certain roles in RMC cannot be outsourced but curious what the rumblings are on where and when they will be doing layoffs?

I heard a rumor from a reliable source that we are ending 5-Day RTO by the end of 2025. We will have 2 office days and 3 virtual/remote days. It will not publicly announced thru some announcements but it will slowly shared among the organizations from VP/AVP levels. Expect some changes near the end of 2025.
