Rumors that there will be layoffs next week in S&T…any idea which teams?? which locations?? Will there be a stay at home email?

If layoffs are in fact coming, S&T has much low hanging fruit that layoffs might target. For years, Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, Senior Directors and Up have not been carrying direct report loads and day to day responsibilities commensurate with the levels they are being paid. Seems like an obvious opportunity give back efficiency to the org.

I can’t speak to this next reduction but another 4,000+ jobs in the United Stares will migrate to Capability Centers over the next 2-3 years. A new CC is coming in the Philippines opening up next month. These job losses are in addition to the lay offs due to outsourcing to 3rd parties along with eliminating duplication of work across foods and beverages.
