To all the people posting hoping they get the “golden ticket”

…knock it off! I know it su-ks always being worried about losing your job every Tuesday after payday, but you really don’t want to lose your job, especially with so many industries laying off in the last year or so. It sounds good to have a break from all the cr-p that goes on in office (I totally get that), but being freshly unemployed is NOT fun and I do not wish that upon anyone! It is hard to find a job in 2025/2026, especially when you don’t already have a job. A lot of posts for the last week or so saying March 3rd was going to be a huge day for layoffs and it was no worse than any other day. Stop creating unnecessary drama and fear for people saying the sky is falling when it’s not. Yes, I know some people lost their jobs yesterday and that su-ks, but be a good person and don’t post rumors…only post facts!

Rumor started by Oracle?

I know I’m going down the conspiracy rabbit hole here, but just for conversation what if Oracle started the rumors of the layoffs? Oracle knows they must get employees motivated again, and it’s against their nature to do so with rewards, but creating fear is right up their alley. The thought being that employees will put up with a lot more if they’re afraid they’re getting laid off. Suddenly, their performance may matter so they work harder. It seems a little far-fetched, but an interesting theory of ponder.

Not enough insults, spill the tea

Whomever has up to date information, spill it. You are doing a service to your colleagues who are all in this together. Those who have been kind enough in leadership positions to share have helped tremendously. Don't gatekeep if you know something. This is the power that employees have...

SInking Ship

Heather Cianfrocco is out. Seems she has decided to leave. Right. Looks like she was made CEO and than all those investigations, than lateral transfer to compliance. The death department and now quietly will ride into the sunset. Wonder how much she is getting paid to zip it.
