I work in downstream, was given a date for severance in april due to reorg. Managers said I could post out internally but if I’m not selected. I will receive my severance. I was out on fmla leave last week, then I get the news today. I was escorted out. Is it normal to have gcc, phone, laptop, GI card and facility access taken? How would I be able to apply internally? Or was it a way of saying you’re fired? I have a lot of people depending on me. Just looking for help. 36 year old. Been with shell 7 years going on 8, not no more it looks like. Lol

This reorg better actually fix things
It's been barely manageable as-is for a while now. My team has been gutted several times already, and nobody paid attention or followed up. My manager isn't as bad as some, but you can only do so much with the little you have left.
Internal hiring
The hiring managers team is going through a reorganization, will be the headcount for the role I applied still available in your experience? Completed the final interview a while ago. The recruiter mentioned that they are still waiting for the decision.
Layoffs starting today
Have heard conflicting things either massive reorg or a layoff. My money is on both. Seeing people reporting their teammates being laid off.
Get Ready - More 50B Debt.

If stock prices fall to 154 or below on Monday / Tuesday, better be prepared to leave.
I also doubt Fusion in addition to legacy apps will be more badly hit in addition to Cerner.
Most people reporting to LE org might be in trouble or waiting for reorg.
New Head of Sales
Head of Sales is retiring. Replacement was quietly hired a few weeks ago. I’d expect sweeping changes and reduction to the sales org by mid year
Righting SAP ship and growing stock price
I believe that the SAP stock will only rebound when Julia White returns as CMO.
This shake up may require more re-trends to return to SAP in order to right the ship.
TEBG?
What's happening with TEBG? Heard of a re-org for the marketers. Does this mean layoffs/restructure?
Reorg in March
Rumor has it most if not all of US will report to India or Colombia in March when a new reorganization will happen.
Lower MD levels are useless and not needed
If Schwab is serious about expense management, start holding MD levels accountable.
Not sure how many are in STS about 50% can be reduced… they all just enable politics and misdirection as they are not needed…. If we already have 2 MD layers why are 1-2 more layers needed?
Such a wasteful org model, and mismanaged dept that is hindering our firm. Starts at the top.
Today
Something is happening today, is it the bank reorg?
The end of KMBS
Sounds like KM is following Ricoh’s model in major accounts. Look for multiple layer changes. Inside sales will vastly expand. Sled will remain. Global accounts will remain. Production will integrate into a reformed IP. Performers have nothing to be concerned with. Dealers are growing however.
Meanwhile, over in Europe…

After record year, ASML is to cut 1,700 jobs, mainly in NL
January 28, 2026
Chip machinery maker ASML is planning to cut its workforce by 1,700 jobs in the coming period, despite having its best-ever year in 2025.
The jobs, the company said in an email to staff ahead of the presentation of its 2025 earnings, will mostly go in the Netherlands and involve “streamlining” its technology and IT divisions to improve the focus on innovation and engineering.
The reorganisation, the company said, is necessary to ensure further growth by bringing back “the fast-moving culture which made us so successful”. ASML has a global workforce of 43,520.
The company booked net profit of €9.6 billion in 2025, on turnover of €31.7 billion. ASML expects further sales growth to between €34 billion and €39 billion this year.
Orders totalled €13 billion in the last three months of the year, almost double the same period in 2024. ASML also announced a new share buyback programme of up to €12 billion, to be executed by 31 December 2028.
ASML is one of Europe’s biggest companies and a major player in the Dutch economy.
Based in Veldhoven near Eindhoven, the company has been at the forefront of efforts to persuade the Dutch government not to discourage highly skilled workers from moving to the Netherlands from abroad and plans to develop a second campus in the region in the coming years.

ION the revival
Rumour has it some of the old guard are coming back and rebranding into a new processing shop - hands up who would abandon their ship to join ( my hands are up!)
Garbage Bank, Even Worse Culture
Been here for long enough to know that Jane is a zero with shoes. She's ineffective but somehow or another got the Chairmanship last year. I guess you can say it's the age old concept of "F up, Move up?" Meanwhile 15,000 people are gonna lose their jobs this year all while the mo--n in charge counts her $25 million payday.
Constant reorganization is akin to putting lipstick on a pig. The bank is garbage. The culture is even worse. The OCC should just put the damn thing into receivership.
Supply Chain Re Org
SC re-org starts today. Post what you know below!
ConocoPhillips North Slope divestment and reorganization
Any murmurs of COP reorganization and possible divestment of North Slope assets?
Reorg / off-site
There were some off sites last week and it's been confirmed a Reorg is coming
Anyone know when ? And if so will there be layoffs or just people moving around
Will SAP be acquired?
Both Microsoft and Oracle are increasing their stock price massively to increase their market capitalization. They are also laying off employees to be less cash poor.
On the other hand, SAP is performing several steps to prepare for an acquisition. there have been share buybacks to negotiate a better deal. There are regular layoffs planned to stabilize the share price to negotiate for a better deal. HPOM and other reorganizations are bringing SAP closer to how Microsoft, Oracle and Salesforce operate. SAP is also cutting down salary hikes and benefits to match those at Microsoft and Oracle. The new performance management system is a vehicle for moving away from role-based compensation and adopt region-based compensation. This is in line with what Microsoft and Oracle does as they determine compensation based on zip code. The newer acquisitions by SAP are also inline with the offerings from Microsoft and Oracle. In fact, SAP is bridging the gap so existing SAP products and products from these acquisitions can be easily rebranded. SAP is also steering away from European worker protections and want a more Silicon Valley like approach where employees live in fear and the executive board makes millions to create more disparity and give them more power.
Do you think that all these actions are taking place to bring SAP into an acquisition mode for Microsoft or Oracle? What do you think the impact would be on SAP layoffs?
More reorgs coming
I can’t say much but be prepared
Converse timing?
Converse people - does anyone know the week we should be expecting reorg and layoffs and to work from home? Getting tired of waiting around.
Flex Time equals vacation loss
It looks like we have lost our full year's vacation if xerox sells or breaks up the company. We are not garenteed anything past the day there is a reorganization.
Is this how it is or can someone clarify?
Long years cloud security engineer
I was impacted by the recent layoff after nearly seven years as a cloud security engineer. During that time, I worked hands-on across architecture, automation, and platform security, often supporting end-to-end execution.
One reflection I’m sitting with is how, during reorganizations, decision-making can shift toward newer leadership roles that may not always have deep technical context — even when long-tenured engineers have been heavily involved in keeping systems running and helping teams ramp up.
Curious how others have seen this play out:
• How do experienced technical ICs stay effective as orgs change?
• In security teams, how much does deep technical ownership still factor into decisions today?
Appreciate any perspectives.
Elliott is about to rewrite the map!
New Geo's coming soon
!!!
What will happen with CS? As APLA will sure to cease.
Org change dates? Commercial and other divisions have dates yet?
Sooner or later it’s happening.
Quiet Cutting
TIAA does this: Quiet cutting is an employer strategy to reduce headcount indirectly by reassigning employees to less desirable, lower-paying, or less critical roles, hoping they quit voluntarily rather than facing direct layoffs, often disguised as "reorganization" or "redeployment" amidst economic uncertainty. It's a response to rising labor costs, creating an alternative to traditional firing. A--holes.
Field transformation - Project Mirage
First week of February announcement of RVP and DPR position being eliminated. New role “Senior Operations Manager” to replace RVP/DPR. DM role will have average of 25 stores that reports to new SOM.
Front end and Pharmacy will be separated for DM and HCS.
Good luck to SM that will have two bosses!
Strong rumors about massive reorganization in SBG
Strong rumors about massive reorganization in SBG. Several executives were axed. Consolidation of several BUs. More products will be integrated under Splunk.
RIFs and Org changes
Heard some folks will be RIFed on Jan 31st or before. A lot of org changes going on. Any updates?
Something feels off..
I've be at NM for a decade, working in tech. Idk if it's just me, but I feel like the recent reorg emails and town halls have been more fluff-filled than I've ever experienced at NM. I've been genuinely shocked at how many words are said and written without actually conveying anything of meaning, or adding any clarity. I don't remember it being this bad. Is this a testament to the age of ChatGPT where we're now seeing our leaders convey purely AI-generated fluff? Or is this just a testament to new SLT members not being as personable as previous years? I know I'm not the only one feeling a bit unsettled by recent SLT communication, but I don't know how widespread that feeling is.
What could timelines look like?
We all know that the timeline to make a room OPO employees at Deerfield. Based on that what could possible time line look like for re-org and may be layoffs.
Here is what I think it may look like:
Identify who they will still stay with the company by the end of this week.
Identify which teams they will belong to by end of next week.
Identify where the teams will sit and communicate with affected employees by the end of the month.
Here is what the structure could look like:
C-Level (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO etc)
- Eight Directors reporting to each
- Eight Managers
- Eight Team members ( Leads if managing large offshore team)
- Eight Off Shore Resources
- Eight Team members ( Leads if managing large offshore team)
- Eight Managers
All would be aligned to achieve same goals every 15 days to a month.
There might be product management team who will continuously be managing prioritized backlog. Their whole deliverable every two weeks is to add new approved items to the backlog.
Insight avail for upcoming reorg of Indirect Sourcing?
Indirect sourcing job posts slowing being posted but no information about the new org chart available publicly. Any insights on this?

Middle level management at risk of layoff
Expecting all legacy products to be wiped out and most middle managers to be let go. Director counts will be reduced.
April shake up
Hearing the next big move is in April, and it’s big news. I’m sure a someone knows more than I, please share.
Are the layoffs in February now?
So now the rumors are that any layoffs will be in February, once the impact of OPO closing and related resignations can be seen. Likely reorgs across the board. With so many resignations, will there even be layoffs? Thoughts?

Layoffs confirmed - insider info
On a call with leaders and managers. 25,000 layoffs last year, expect another re-org (or as it was said in the meeting; 'reshuffle') at the earliest mid-February.
Employee confidence in Cisco, it's direction and future are at an all time low according to leadership. The only positive is RTO reigniting local hire after years of stagnation.
It's time to start looking for a job on the grill at mcdonalds
New Record Set! Of my first 10 emails this morning, 8 were Reorg emails.
I have a feeling it's going to be a most excellent year!
