so, after Boise, which site is next on the list to close?
As CX was down over the past quarter by 1%, what do you think the probability of layoffs in TAC occurring would be? Furthermore, has anyone heard anything about layoffs in TAC after the most recent earnings reports?
Let’s avoid spreading rumors about layoffs- it can be really demotivating and stressful for everyone.
So whoever has been doing this for past few days- please stop!
I saw the F-150 Guy very nervous this morning.
So the F-150 Guy said that after the performance reviews are done, the gigantic LYOFz will occur.
Good luck.
They indirectly announced layoffs, and eventually it will. Why to rush and go into legal problems. They will announce results and after all calculation and potential legal issues, they will do layoff. May be it can take couple of weeks.
People are suggesting this date but would they pick the last week of quarter ?
If it's true, is it just India or everyone ?
The biggest layoffs are coming in 2 months
I'm so tired of this. People who want to leave, who'd love a severance package, are stuck here waiting for the axe to fall. The company drags it out like we don't have lives to plan. This was a good place once. Really was. Now it's just gray and empty and I don't care anymore. I hope everyone here lands somewhere better whether they stay or go.
With so many contradicting stories, I have no idea what to think anymore.
Any intel when next wave of S&T layoffs across locations will be announced? Before Easter?
Layoffs have not started yet. We'll all know full well when they do.
Come on - we know it’s coming, who’s going to spill the details?
Calm before the storm?
Just smaller layoffs here and there? That's what everyone in my office seems to think, though not that our opinions matter much. But if that's how it's going to be, that's the worst. You're just waiting for it to hit, with no idea when.
All I've heard so far is Modem and Program Mgmt. Any details?
I'm hoping somebody knows more about it. Hopefully, it's not true, but I've herd it from several different sources and some are not the usual gossips, so I'm starting to worry.
Mark my words.
My manager took away some of my duties and reassigned them to himself. Is this a sign that middle management knows their time is up? I think they are padding their duties so they can appear to have work to do and avoid layoffs, but it's time to pay the piper! Sneaky little rascals!
Has anybody else heard about potential layoffs in April? What are the chances it's really going to happen?
Oxy cuts when oil prices are down, when they are up, when results are bad, and even when they are good. Basically, it can happen at any time. It is best to always expect layoffs here.
Last week was really quiet. Should we be worried about next week?
Even a rough idea would help. Everyone around me is guessing, nobody has a clue, and the anxiety is through the roof. I can't focus at all.
If results are good, they will layoff after a week so more stock price will up. If results bad they can fire on Monday. But oim request revocation far fetched
People are talking about layoffs, some seem to be convinced something is coming. Does anybody here know anything?
There've been some rumors, but I'm hoping it's just talk.
I understand people are stressed, but it is still better to have a few weeks to prepare for layoffs than to be completely surprised when you least expect it. Update your resume, start networking, and get a feel for the job market. Do not get stuck in a waiting pattern when there are things you can do to help yourself, even if only a little bit.
Anything major expected next week? Any leftovers they haven't dealt with yet?
Nothing coming Monday, you are welcome. Go back to bed.
Have been chking these posts for a while and just see OP posts!! If serious massive rifs finally hit us …but the suffering with posts “wolf is coming….” Is a never ending nightmare
All these latest posts and comments about layoffs this Monday, which divisions or regions are being affected?
What's going on here? The number of potential layoffs keeps growing. Is there really no other way to deal with this?
