Anthem Immigration

I don’t pay much attention to PULSE but saw this on mine under Quick Actions. A link titled Review Labor Conditions Applications. All notice of intent to employ a non immigrant H-1B in multiple states and positions. Appears jobs are for $100k or more with a 3 year employment.
So no one in the US is capable of fulfilling these jobs? 😡

Already found another job...

I have been telling every customer that walks in and quietly told them that they are being misled, ripped off, and taken advantage of and told them to go to another carrier and provided them their acct and xfer pin #s

Verizon must fall. I played my part and everyone on the chopping block shall do what I do.

They should bleed out and lose millions of customers for treating us like dogs

Got a job offer

I recently got a couple job offers that is 100% commission and one that is not 100% commission. I am currently an ASM in a direct store. From what I’ve read the commission for the job I got the offer for is around $80,000-$100,000/year for the first year. Also, I have another offer for a competitor to Verizon in their SMB side. Which on average makes the same as the other job but it isn’t 100% commission. Would you take either one or would you wait and see what happens with Verizon. Not to brag but I have won winner’s circle a couple times as a sales rep for Verizon. (I know asking strangers isn’t the best but it is what it is I’ve been with Verizon for a while and idk what to think)

EEs INTENTIONALLY MISCLASSIFIED NOW CAN YOU EE’s HANDLE IT? Experience any job Title changes, Loopholes, and the Misclassification Trap

With the new mandate raising the salary threshold, many companies are quietly rebranding jobs to dodge overtime rules. Titles like “analyst,” “specialist,” or “associate manager” are being handed out without changing the actual work. It’s a loophole: the company narrative makes it look like you’re exempt, while your day-to-day duties tell a different story.

The law is clear, titles don’t matter. What matters is what you actually do. If your role is routine, closely supervised, or production-based, you’re likely non-exempt no matter what’s printed on your badge. But the timing of sudden title changes around this mandate is a red flag: it may be an attempt to fit workers into exemption boxes that don’t really apply.

For employees, this isn’t just semantics. Misclassification means unpaid overtime, longer weeks for flat pay, and missed income you’ve already earned. If your “promotion” didn’t come with real authority, like hiring, firing, or decision-making power you may have just been reclassified on paper.

Keep an eye on how your job was described before the rule change, what your duties actually are, and whether the company is leaning on titles as a shield. Misclassification isn’t an accident; it’s a tactic. And it’s one that costs workers the most.

Class action anyone ?? Long overdue!
