Even without any rumors, even without any announcements, all I can think about every single day is what's going to happen if I lose my job to cuts. I wasn't like this before, I swear. But with all the small and large cuts in the last few years, I think they broke something in me.
Need a class -action lawsuit against these id--ts! FIS mgmt. should be the folks leaving not the hard working class. I am betting we'll be forced to accept roles with Cognizant to keep a paycheck coming in only to get sc--wed within a year from now. Betting it is the way FIS gets around paying severance packages and Cognizant will get their cut. I am highly irritated with the manner if which they handled their business, and we are all being lied to by managers saying they had no idea, when we know they were included and had likely had to sign off. Deals like this don't happen overnight this has been in the work many many months, pushing a year and I hope they remember karma is a !@#$%
Dell only cares about storage followed by AI servers, nothing else matters. The traditional server business has almost been destroyed and I am guessing that it will soon lose its number one standing in the industry. I am certain that Dell does not care and the people associated to these products will eventually be let go. SAD!!!

Vanguard to hire 2k in India. I know the phrase right now is to "grow the workforce" but we all know what it is. Offshoring so they can get rid of American employees who cost more. And even if nobody gets cut here, to do this when so many people at home need a job is despicable. John Bogle is probably rolling in his grave.
With all the changes, I fear I'll return to a place I do not recognize. After being sick for so long, it's depressing to read how much worse things have become via posts on this board.

It's true that all the major healthcare companies are cr-p these days, but Elephants Health has trampled on its people far more than any other I've heard. They care NOTHING for you, no matter what position you're in. All they care about is making the shareholders and Queen Gail rich. If you're not planning to already, get out or retire if you can, ASAP! You may already be on the "list" and don't even know it.

There was a very disjointed and brief call today, with no questions allowed to be asked, stating FIS is going to outsource almost all parts of the business.
So they're trying to push out the "older" sales reps. How is this allowed?

The most productive, most liked because she's always helping others, the most knowledgeable person on our team, the person who made our manager look good was laid off. So tell me, if all of that didn't save her, then what's there to do to be safe? The answer is simple, nothing.

I'm certainly not defending Citi and I'm well aware that a deluge of layoffs or a 'quick tiuchbase" could happen any time but card layoff activity has been low or nonexistent in March. Anybody seeing something different?

Had a manager briefing call today, and they were very evasive regarding questions about anonymity in regards the survey. The anonymity questions was raised by multiple managers in fact.

Stock has tanked, 10's of thousands of employees on the street, 10's of thousands working off-short for pennies, agile rolled out with aggressive, mandated goals and no asset cap. What's really going on?
Is there any truth to this? This is roughly 10% of the workforce. Heard it was AI related (same as other companies are saying - fire thousands of people to invest in AI).
There is now even a freeze for hiring contractors.
Makes me sick working here.
