I am in corp risk and my manager told me I am on the list of those not maintaining 8 hours in the office. We are warned to maintain 8 hours otherwise it might be used in performance review. This is becoming scary.

They arrive at 8am and leave around 2:30 for daycare pickup but never see them back online or available for any meetings later in day. How do people get away with this!? My workload would not allow that.

There are many remote jobs available in the market, but you have to compete with visa workers who likely hold two or three jobs. Working five days a week from the office just isn’t worth it. Good luck!

Effective immediately? What a sh-t show. Tracking our mouse movements or clicks. I assume Q1 is the announcement of 4 days a week or back to 5. I guess this is one way of saying, I’m only doing my 8 hours and shutting down.. see ya again at 7am.
