Apparently there is a big PepsiCo brand PR announcement tomorrow. Anyone know what it could be?
Jan 2026 Hiring Freeze?
Is hiring for roles at the corporate office on some sort of a freeze? I was supposed to be a finalist for a position but am now being told the process is being paused. Any insight is greatly appreciated

Did the same design team work on these?
Ah yes, the offshore model. So efficient. So cheap.
Execution is offshore. Accountability is onshore. Answers are expected instantly — from US leaders — even when the work is “handled” elsewhere. So if leadership asks a question and you don’t know because the team is offshore? That’s your problem... — read more

What’s brewing in Data and AI?

It's just like The Traitors game show !
Is it just me, or does it feel to you like were living in The Traitors game show. Every day the Faithful try their hardest to generate cash, meanwhile the Traitors (HR in our case) are weighing us all up for the Ax, then they invite the unlucky ones... — read more
Spring cuts/layoffs

Laid off in my 50s with no pension and no plan
I'm part of this middle-aged surplus they've created. I'm too young to retire and too old to feel like I can start over. The future I planned for my family (the security, the college funds, the stability) is gone. I feel like I've completely failed... — read more

There is a lot of internal chatter regarding the decision to have the CSTO lead LATAM Foods while maintaining the S&T lead. With a direct report structure of nearly 30 people already, many are asking how this serves the business rather than just... — read more
5 states cutting soda from snap today
2026 looks to be another horrible year. 5 states removing soda from snap benefits, and more to come. Have you heard a plan to make that up, because I have not. No plan, no results, more layoffs.
2025 YTD Return of negative 1.84% while the market is positive 17% - Good Job Everyone !
It look a lot of Leadership, apathetic employees, meetings, PowerPoints, bad ideas and ineffective and incapable management to accomplish this ! # PEPPROUD
I plan on being lazier and more unproductive in 2026
I really thought that I would have gotten the ax by now, but nope, I'm still here. Guess I have to up my game in 2026 and do even less if that's possible.
PepsiCo's only plan is layoffs
When layoffs become the sole tool for every problem, it shows management has no real plan. It's a clear sign of failure and desperation. I've started my job search, and you should too. There's no future here.
Layoffs 2”26
11 posts in a row with nothing really about layoffs. I made thru 25. I know there’s stuff brewing for 26, but I’m not sure how it’s all going shake out. AI and automation are going to play a big role in change. Just not sure what that looks like.
Coworker trained her own replacement
A teammate who got laid off in the last round spent weeks helping a new hire learn the job, showing him the ropes, answering questions, in essence, training the person who would take over. And then suddenly, she's gone, without warning. The new hire... — read more

Days in Office
Does everyone stick to the 3-4 days in office? Most people I’ve talked to do 2 days if anything - I think riding it out until more days become mandatory.

Laying off this many people is going to come back and bite the company hard
Cutting roles that deal directly with clients and partners is especially short-sighted, but it won’t stop there. Even the so-called “mundane” jobs carry institutional knowledge that doesn’t show up on a spreadsheet. The idea that AI can just step in... — read more
