Is the break up the end of dividends?
I am expecting a pretty brutal rebalance as we exit the Dow and fixed income funds dump the stock.

60 Riffed in Chandler
https://www.abc15.com/news/business/honeywell-to-lay-off-60-valley-workers-ahead-of-aerospace-company-spinoff
Chandler site is rather small more like leased office space. Not sure exactly what went on there but I believe they belonged to corporate and not Aero.
Honeywell Cuts Jobs Before Aerospace Spinoff
Honeywell International announced job reductions. The company is reducing staff in the Valley. An aerospace division spinoff is planned. This corporate separation will happen by June's end. The job reductions precede this corporate change.

More on the PC spinoff speculation
Our team is coming up with a $699 computer to compete with the Apple $599 computer. If we’re a market leader, why didn’t we come up with the not a Chromebook device before Apple. The Apple will be better built and last a student all through high school. And Apple’s support bot is better than ours. I know, because I’ve used both.
It shows we no longer lead the PC market, we follow the trends. A sale or spinoff can’t be far off.
Disclosure: Like others said - mine is pure speculation. I own some Dell stock but not enough to get rich and retire yet. I’m just turning sc--w drivers and plugging in cables everyday.
As an aside, I wonder how the ‘experts’ who said to dump Dell at $150 are doing…
401K Blackout Window Before the 6/29/2026 HW Aerospace Spinoff
Has anyone heard any information about when the blackout window is to the 401K Plan right before the 6/29 Spinoff? I am moving to the Aerospace side and need to make some changes, but would like to make them as close to the spin as possible. Thanks
Spinoff or merger?
I’ve been thinking ELT is setting everything up for a merger, for awhile now. But lately I’ve started to wonder about a spinoff instead. All this talk about segments… core, new to wealth and high net worth. Think there might be a plan to create the segments in order to spinoff or sell one or two of them?
Honeywell Aerospace
Will honeywell aerospace have a separate section on thelayoff website once the separation is complete?
VOE Survey
How soon after day 1 will Honeywell Aerospace do a VOE?

- company will be splited by 4 or 5 independent companies ( by region ) and FIS brand will disappear by end of this year.
Boots to have an IPO.
So it appears that Stefano's Boots chain is being spun off and will have an IPO. Don't know when this will happen as the article was paywalled, but I guess this is/was part of Mr. P's plans to regain his losses? I wonder if this would have any effect on Walgreens, or nothing since they're separated now.
Will they do furloughs or offer packages?
Hearing of some big workforce reduction targets after the split. Any chance they will offer buyouts especially since they seem to be popular in corporate America these days?
PA doom and gloom
PA is supposed to be the jewel of RemainCo’s crown. I guess it was Cubic Zirconia.
June 29th - Day of Separation
Announced during earnings call today. Will Aero be ready for this? Probably not but it’s happening anyway

What does this mean in terms of greater company structure? Spinoff? Reorg? More jobs offshored?
Concur?
What is happening with SAP Concur? Seems ripe for a full transformation or integration into SAP. After 12 years the company doesn’t “fit” at SAP? Layoffs? Hiring freeze? New Germans? Spin off?
Fantastic Debut, Minimed
Priced below the proposed offering, ended the delay below the IPO price, and took Medtronic down almost the full value of the spinoff. Man Geoff, Que and the whole gang are hitting on all cylinders. This is the flywheel of innovation at work i guess.
On the bright side.....
My Agilent and Keysight shares are going gang busters. HP split from the former Test & Measurement group so they each could focus on their product lines. T&M did just that but the printer/PC and enterprise hardware side,,,, well not so much!
When they spin-off Shifty-Co (Transmission Division)
They should make sure that a 14 gear engine is created. The market is asking for it.

Eaton sells its transmission business to Dauch and its valve business to Nittan.

Did we just get partially bought out?

We now have to pay to use our own intellectual property (names and products):
"Under that agreement, Xerox and selected subsidiaries retain worldwide, royalty-bearing rights to use the contributed IP, paying IPCo a 2.0% royalty on specified consolidated revenue"

Will there be a new forum?
With the split and not technically working for att will there be a new forum for forged?
L3Harris Technologies reorganizing, spinning off and selling out?
So, reduced to 3busin units from 4. The new structure is as follows: Space & Mission Systems (SMS), Communications & Spectrum Dominance (CSD), and Missile Solutions (MSL).
And then MSL spins off at least 40% of itself as a sorta stand alone IPO. And the former SAS unit is outsourcing work like crazy.
What's really happening folks?
Evernorth Health Services Jobs - US/Worldwide
Evernorth Health Services jobs posted on LinkedIn, United States has 72 jobs, India has 182 jobs, and worldwide has 254 jobs. India takes over 70% of jobs. Undeniably, Evernorth Health Services is an India company that provides healthcare services for USA market. In coming days it might spinoff from Cigna, and pay a few remaining US workers in rupees.
Idea into Sycamore's plan with Boots, Care, and shield?
So with Boots being the biggest money maker for them, I heard rumors that they were going to maybe IPO Boots? What do you think (hypothetically) the plan would be for the other two? Since these 3 would be where Sycamore can extract value from, I assume Walgreens would be fattened with debt and left to be gutted? Unless they have any aspiration of trying to save it.......
What do you guys think? Trying to understand how a PE would try to extract value with this deal.
IGS/PSS Update?
Any idea if anyone has news on IGS / PSS sale/spinoff/JV news? whats the motion as folks are RF for almost 6 months and still counting.

Solstice spinoff is top notch
Great teamwork, sense of belonging, trust, managers who listen, autonomy - lucky to be part of such a great company.
Odd Stock Option Notice
This is a hold on transactions. It could mean what they say or it might relate to the Diabetes spinoff. https://workplaceservices.fidelity.com/bin-public/070_NB_SPS_Pages/documents/dcl/shared/StockPlanServices/SPS_MDT_SOP_RESTRICTION_NOTICE.pdf
value to be spun off
Verizon to focus on Verizon brands
Value
Being spun off as a subsidiary, will make the books and share holder value increase. VBG to follow
Solstice Advanced Materials
This business, just spun out, was responsible for just 10% of HON revenues, but the market prices it’s stock at 25% of the remaining Honeywell. How did VK and SV let go of this profitable segment? Could they not see the potential?
