Salary Transparency Thread

In full transparency, and in support of everyone trying to navigate the uncertainty right now, I think it could really help if we start sharing salary information. Having a clearer picture of compensation across grade levels and roles can empower all of us as we make decisions and advocate for ourselves.

If you’re comfortable, please share your grade level and salary as well. No pressure - only if you feel safe doing so. The more information we have collectively, the better we can understand where we stand.

We’re all trying to support each other through a really tough time, and transparency can make a huge difference.

Ousted Hans could still pocket most of $20M salary as company cuts 15,000 jobs

The grift that keeps on grifting. He will consult through the transition.
Plus private jet perks and more for leading the company from 1st to 3rd place.
Will he still have a security detail?
Employee shareholders pay the price.

Who is leading?

Why Level 3 make 300K in salary plus 25% bonus.
We have too many of them, and they do nothing.
They spent a year talking about how to put the same technology we deployed more than a decade ago.
Then only presenting slides provided by an external vendor.
Not even doing honest work of their own.
Jokers wasting money, not coming up with anything new.
We are doomed. What is our leading technology?
Ask our Bachelor in Arts Jeremy.

Maurice needs to resign honorably!

Many have commented about Maurice failing as a leader. Like a coach who losses games YOU get fired NOT the team! He needs to watch Xmas vacation on how he affects many who trully care about their work and don't have the luxury of $40,000,000 + per year paid to fail!
Maurice do what Japenese leaders do and cut your salary and costs or resign before Many suffer from your failures that are innocent!!!

YE comp vibes (aka group therapy)

Starting an anonymous comp thread.
Not because I’m passionate about it — just because it felt like one of those things where everyone’s waiting for someone else to go first.
So… here we are.

So no one gets doxxed we’ll keep it high level

Org Area: high level
Level: early / mid / senior-ish
Salary Bucket: pick one
• Under 75k
• 75–100k
• 100–125k
• 125–150k
• 150–200k
• 200k+
Merit Vibe: low/moderate/solid
Bonus Range: sub-teens/teens /twenties/other

Here’s mine:
Org Area: Global Investments
Level Category: mid
Salary Bucket: 100–125k
Merit Vibe: low
Bonus Range: teens

Curious to see what patterns people are seeing this cycle.
Not looking for exact numbers — just trying to understand whether this year felt normal… or “normal.”

Job Market

I’ve been out looking for the past 9 months. It’s tough out there with very few places hiring and if they are salaries way below what I was making. While my work wasn’t always great and I had things to complain about, my advice is try to keep what you have because the options are slim. I thought it would be a lot easier and now would come back in a second and even with a smaller bonus would do better than what others are offering right now.

Pay & Inflation Question

Is your salary keeping up with inflation???

Mine definitely is not.

when I look back and adjust for inflation, I realize I am makin less now than I did 15 years ago, even though my responsibilities and workload have gone up.

Costs keep rising and rising and rising --- everything from groceries to housing to basic bills, yet wages do not seem to move at the same pace. It is frustrating to feel like you are working just as hard, if not harder, but falling behind in real terms. Just putting that out there.

Pay increase without promotion?

Hello,

As the title suggests, has anyone received a pay increase without a title promotion (associate to senior associate to vp or so on)?

I feel like I am underpayed and my contributions to my team are not reflected in my current salary.

Is there anyway to formally request this?

Jersey wacked all low first line bosses left 2nd and above making big bucks doing nothing

So on a local level in field can only go by what we see and know. What we saw was low level low pay first line bosses getting riffed .While not very useful they might actually have some use!Yet we saw no upper management like 2nd or 3rd liners who actually do nothing but make misery along with Tons of money!!So what we see is this is all a joke .Dan just needed a bit more cash flow from the bottom of the pile. This just means our next contract is gonna be really fun with Dan since he really loves to Rob the lower paid working groups .While moving in all his over paid paypal buddies!!!

New Job. New Pay??

Any word of SGL, salary, VCIP, and RSU changes for individuals moved to new roles? I know some were demoted and informed of compensation changes at the time of that notification, but is everyone else to assume that no changes are coming? Will we experience similar SGL restructuring as occurred in Canada?

Note: Groupings had to deal with "Associate Dir Prod Engg" and "Director Of Data Science" kind of situations, this skews numbers as both will end up as "Director". Take this as a general direction, not source of truth. For the source of truth, look at the link above for exact values reported to the state.

Salaried

Salaried workers have big egos and think they're better than everyone else and management will see that and treat them well. They think unions are just to protect lazy losers, when it's really just about fair treatment. Bad employees in a union can still be fired.
