Wealth Management Bonus

I am interviewing for a marketing position. Can someone please provide me any numbers on the bonuses that wealth management marketing receives. The salary is little bit higher than what I am making. HR mentioned the bonus % is anywhere between 25-40% of base salary. This is for SVP position.

Honest question about tech skills

On one hand they tell you to "specialize".

You then specialize.

Then they tell you those skills are no longer the ones they need.

So they fire you.

Then you try to find a new job, you realize the skills you had are not the ones they want because it's too specialized, so you re-skill.

But then they overlook you because you spent time not working or another "issue" (you were spending money and/or time re-skilling).

Can you ever make them happy?

It's an honest question and something I really want to know, so please try not to respond goofy :-)

Environmental Personnel In San Ramon

We have a few environmental as well as other jobs from our function still here in San Ramon. I know my PDC has already met but I personally have not been given a move date, a new job, a see ya later or anything. My boss left the company a couple of months ago. I am almost afraid to ask the question if they forgot about me. Should I just be silent or say something?

Question Re State Farm Closing Agencies Under "New" Agent Agreement

My boss does not tell me the truth all the time. This is the current story, please help me untangle it. My current boss is a State Farm agency owner. He signed the newer State Farm Agent Agreement years ago and has his own agency. He has a friend who also signed the newer State Farm Agent Agreement years ago and has a local State Farm agency. The "Friend Owner" wants to retire without giving up his agency. I am being transferred to "Friend Owner" who will teach me to be the office manager. I also have my P&C, Health and Life licenses. "Friend Owner" stopped selling and just writes policies if they walk in the door. I know that State Farm has production goals that need to be met. I also know that State Farm has the right to close agencies that are not selling or have absentee owners. My current boss said that State Farm does not close agencies and doesn't have the right to close agencies. I believe that he is not being honest. Does State Farm actually close underperforming agencies? Is there any proof that they do?

Forum

It would interested to ask Lyons how will Fiserv innovate with all the layoffs and loss of simple technical and product knowledge that his predecessor let go to pump and dump the stock price.

Property return??

Got another frustrating non-answer from the transition email (similar to my HR conversation), and my leadership has gone dark. Has anyone gotten any sign of a deadline here for getting your things back? I assume they're having the team admins facilitate, but have gotten no info whatsoever other than it's being "mailed" back. I have some things in my office that will be tough to ship...I suppose that's their problem, but I do want my things and to fully close out this bogus transaction!

Can you REALLY elaborate what P-M is?

Like, really? Everything I hear is so vague and general, there are no real details on that. I only associate that with more micromanagement but nothing more specific in terms of processes or so. Is this another fancy way of doing noise for appearances to pump stock price?

How to job search out of the training institute?

I still have my job at TI, but this layoff makes me really understand the revolving door rumors I've heard about TI forever now. I got hired into TI straight out of school and have been here for a few years now. Is my job experience at TI normal to expect from other companies? I'm on the test/validation team of a product line, so I feel pigeon-holed into semiconductor places with lack of design experience.

For those who've been laid off, I honestly want to congratulate you and hope your searches have gone well.

Entry Level Positions? FY26

Hi, does anyone know if they are hiring or plan to hire new college graduates?

Myself and classmates have applied to dozens of positions across various departments but can not get an interview at this company (even positions that don't require a college degree). It is one of the few FinTech companies in our area.

(3.5+ GPAs, STEM/Finance degrees, US citizens, 30 minute commute.)

Or if anyone knows what type of candidates they are currently looking for, that would be very helpful!

Thank you
