ELT has decided to do another [stealth] layoff this November (no doubts on this)... Do we know exactly what teams are impacted? If you have no clue, dont troll.

Major Layoffs (Just 12 days for the 4th Quarter)
The largest single corporate layoff in U.S. history was IBM's reduction of its workforce by 60,000 employees in 1993.
However, the ongoing mass federal layoffs under the second Trump administration, potentially exceeding 200,000 workers and possibly reaching 300,000, could surpass this corporate record if completed. More to come in 4th Quarter 2025
Other major layoffs include Citigroup's 50,000 job cuts in 2008 and Sears' 50,000 job cuts in 1993.
Layoffs today
Sending the we will be laying people off email before actually telling someone that they are laid off is wild…. Does anyone know what departments are going to be hit with this?
Remote Employees
What is the latest everyone is hearing about remote employees? Will they be part of upcoming layoffs or part of Phase 2? I’m still hearing no exceptions for any department will be made even if you were hired as fully remote ( I.e. IT, Sales, etc)
Wave 1 & 2 Layoffs has past, and now the annual supervisor pilgrimage to Bengaluru has commenced.
As the Wave 1 and Wave 2 Layoffs is now past, rest assured Chevron USA and ABU transition team supervisors have commenced the next 2026 (Waves 3 & 4) pilgrimage to Bengaluru.
Where they encounter beautiful Akshay Sahni (President Punkah Wallah) at ‘The Bengaluru Taj Mahal’ AKA ENGINE’s RMZ Ecoworld Rd HQ.
New 2026 Focus Areas
• CTC / FE Transition Role handover
• New Phase 3 & 4 Workflows with a focus on TAR execution & delayed M&R
• Global MCP execution (with support from Wood/Worley back offices approx. 6000 ENGINEeers & no CVX site experience)
• Remove field inspections
• Remote Refinery & LNG CCR Operator training & transition (the Unions will love that!)
This is the new norm for those with a job.
All aboard MWs sinking ship!
Are we done?
No more cuts expected tomorrow?

Spirit to Slash Capacity By 25%
Spirit plans to slash capacity by about 25% this fall as part of its bankruptcy restructuring, a move that will likely trigger more layoffs at the struggling ultra-low-cost carrier.
In a memo to employees, President and CEO Dave Davis said the change will make Spirit’s operations more resilient and efficient.
“A key pillar of our restructuring is redesigning and strengthening our network,” Davis wrote. “With that in mind, later this afternoon, our operational leaders will receive our preliminary November schedule. As planning begins, you will see a reduction of about 25% in capacity, year over year, as we optimize our network to focus on our strongest markets.”

Whatever the deal turns out to be, we’ll be sc--wed
It’s not like any of this will benefit us. Layoffs will keep coming, and who knows how this will play out for Intel overall. I’m not stopping my job search, and the moment I find something even remotely acceptable, I’m pulling the plug here.
It’s such a fantastic idea to keep us in the dark
I just can’t figure out the need for it. Is it so we can all be a little more out of our minds than usual, worrying and stressing nonstop?
Imagine if UHG and Optum simply announced upcoming layoffs internally on SPARQ instead.
A month ahead of the RIF, just give everyone a heads up on which orgs will be affected. That way people can budget accordingly and the rumor mill doesn't cause worry and panic across the organization.
And, we could tamp down on false rumors that people outside of the organization are reading.
Novo Nordisk cuts US obesity education team as layoffs begin
Wegovy maker Novo Nordisk has cut a U.S. sales team focused on obesity and diabetes education for healthcare providers, according to two sources close to the company and LinkedIn posts reviewed by Reuters, an early sign of the dr-gmaker's push to cut costs and regain ground on rival Eli Lilly.

How long will the layoffs last?
Until nobody’s left?
Let’s hope it stops here
These cuts will deeply affect both staff and patients, and the last thing anyone needs right now is a decline in the quality of care. I feel for all the colleagues who will be impacted - it’s heartbreaking. And honestly, even for those of us who stay, the strain and uncertainty ahead won’t be easy to carry.
Why does this company hate its employees?
CVE is run by arrogant corporate snakes. They are making money hand over fist. They don’t need to layoff. Employees are a necessary evil until they’ve used you for what they need. Everyone is out for themselves at CVE - they don’t trust you and you can’t trust them. Laying off a bunch of hard working people and arrogantly saying you will just “do less”. I’ve never seen such id--tic things. Is this company real or a nightmare? #USW #Strike #2026
Any idea how many jobs they want to cut?
It sounds like the number could end up being pretty high. And we all know it won’t just be redundancies.
Upcoming layoff is going target old timers > 10yrs with Cisco
Overheard from a Cisco VP saying this in a family social.
Be ready
Comcast Layoffs - Any Additional News?
Do we think it's everyone from each division? That seems insane.
A director told me today that the "carnage" will mostly be at the higher levels, but I can't confirm.
So will the cuts reach 10%?
It’s so difficult to catch one or two actual pieces of information among all that completely unnerving corporate fluff. Here we are, having no clue about what will happen with our jobs, and we still have to listen to inordinate amounts of meaningless words. It’s disrespectful, at minimum. How about they lay out the details like grownups, so we can start scrambling for alternatives and backup plans?
Lionsgate Layoffs Will Trim Overall Staff By 50
Lionsgate will be reducing 5% of its companywide staff, Deadline has learned.
Approximately 50 staff overall will exit in a move that adds to a previous trim. The earlier layoff constituted 8% of staff, which will mean Lionsgate will have lightened its head count by 13% when this round of downsizing is done.

Cuts won’t be over any time soon, will they?
This feels like slow bleeding. Seems like it’s time to start looking hard at other options, if only to be prepared.
How to stay sane until restructuring is over?
It’ll be months before this is resolved, and by all accounts the cuts will be massive. That means a long stretch of stress and anxiety, right when keeping your job feels existential. The job market is already a horror show and only getting worse. We’ll all lose it before this is done and over with.
Which orgs have been hit today?
WellMed has been hit hard, it seems. It’s difficult to keep track, and we are all on edge, so please share.
Texas layoff wave grows as Amazon contractor cuts jobs
Another slew of mass layoffs is set to hit a logistics services company, as Texas continues to brace for job losses amid a weakening economy.
Accelore Group, LLC announced plans to eliminate 107 positions in Tarrant County and 107 positions in Dallas County, according to new reports filed under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.
The layoffs will take place at the company's Amazon Logistics locations in Fort Worth and Balch Springs.

No massive layoffs in USA yet. Objective is to sow fear and unease
There have been few to any Chevron layoffs since announcing…is the objective to farm fear from staff? In Houston not seeing housing price decreases yet…
It's not your mind; it's the SullBhit.
Spoke with an old co-worker last week, who got LR'd last year and still does not have replacement job. Really sad, great worker.
I was LR'd years ago, and moved on luckily to much greener pastures.
I was at Cisco a long time, the last two years were Psychological Warfare. Felt I would get LR'd; sure enough eventually did.
Early in career, was a "highly valued" and highly paid, who then, with time morphed into an older male. Great money. The problems indeed began when new "management" took over our BU. It took a year, but there was a dramatic "change" of "philosophies", which also brought more likeminded folks into the BU. Let me just say, languange became a definite much tougher to navigate challenge. Also, many cultural differences.
That is not a popular opinion, but it was reality. Sounds like it still may be reality. Now even more.
I am SO glad I was removed from the sullbhit and moved on. I am also glad it was years ago, and not in today's market. Times are tough. If I was still there, I do not know what I would do, the opportunites are not there.
Many people will most likely not like this post. I am supportive of all peoples, but skill and job abilities were, and appear to continue to be for the mostpart, completely ignored at Cisco.
To the upper management who sanction and condone this pile of sullbhit, I hope you feel truly proud of your accomplishments, mostly of padding your pockets while picking off other workers, and continuing to foster a culture of misery.
if you come across a better opportunity, move on. Your sanity will Thank You.
Upcoming RIFs
Anyone has any information about upcoming RIFs? Dates, teams etc..
Has Teams Organisation Been Updated
If it was not for this site, I would have no idea that such a RIF was taking place and I know of no one who had been ‘let go’.
Has the organisation shown in Teams been updated? Some higher up folk have not been on line since 9/4.
Let’s sc--w over experienced and older employees
I was laid off a couple weeks ago. I can still login because of my 60 days. It is a kick in the nuts to see they have already onboarded several consultants to cover our work and then see postings go out for more junior roles on my old team.
It su-ks to be at my age because it is clear they are going after us. They don’t want to pay us what we are worth anymore. Let’s hire inexperienced talent now so we don’t have to pay them.
Pilot nursing
They laid off a bunch of directors from the pilot nursing program
Legal stuff
Hope for the best prepare for the worst. Start keeping track of everything. Bi--h supervisors. Condescending co workers. All pay stubs, all career education and training, update your resume and log everything just in case. This should be done regardless of layoffs. Over document over every task and interaction. Just in case. Be well everyone.
Jesus be with you
Predictions for next week?
Now that they have everyone moved out of Bld B., is it going to be a cloaked bloodbath?
Or, have the adjustments already occurred, and next week we all just get offer letters, no big deal?
And, what has Mr. MistMan been hearing from all his time in the room with the other high-level doers? (ha ha ha, what a tw-t that guy was)
2025 Annual Layoff Games (a.k.a. Purges Will Continue Until Subscriber Losses Stop)
It’s official: Effective January 2026, the Divisions will be eliminated, and it will now just be the Regions/Field offices rolling into HQ under Amy Lynch.
Comcast operated under a similar model until 2018, when the divisional structure first took effect.
More details will be given over the next 30 days, but there are massive cuts expected due to now-obvious redundancies.
The reason for the switch from divisional back to HQ roll-up is declining revenues across Comcast’s different product/service offerings, which are in large part due to quarterly subscriber losses exceeding ~200k.
Of course, the executive teams are euphemistically (delusionally?) labeling this as “great opportunities arising,” but everyone can smell this for the bull manure it actually is in reality.
Effectively, leadership thinks the only way to stop the fiscal bleeding is to bleed the organization dry of the talent which has long sustained it.
So, best of luck to all in the purges to come, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
Happy Layoff Games!!
Massive division layoffs coming
Dave Watson announced elimination of division structure starting in January. Frontline divisional teammates will stick around, everything else is moving to HQ. Unsure if just residential or resi and CB. Regional roles will still exist. Crazy that they've gotten away without filing a warn notice since 2020.
Is RTO on the table?
Since it's pretty obvious they want to continue reducing headcount, would they pull the trigger to force returning to the office? I imagine a lot of people would say 'no thanks' and leave, and others would leave simply due to living too far from any office location. It would save them a ton on severance, but would they take the risk of losing people they actually want to keep?
OHAI Layoff USA
We just had another person from our team get laid off today. Looks like they are continuing cutting the workforce.
Shankless Shankar
Shankar the water buffalo is speaking at the company all-hands right now, talking about Empathy and Respect. What an absolute joke. Open your eyes, ya carpet munching swamp gator, there are people here with families, mortgages, and years of loyalty to this company, and everything you say rings hollow. If you actually cared about the 'synergies' and 'products' you keep parroting, you’d show loyalty to the people who built the foundation you’re standing on. Instead, we all know how this will play out: H1B workers will be squeezed at minimum pay while long-time, higher-earning employees get cut loose. That’s not empathy, that’s exploitation. And let’s be honest, what exactly do you do? Besides pacing around and spouting corporate buzzwords about things you didn’t create, what’s your actual contribution? If anyone here deserves to be replaced by AI, it’s you.
