In my org, two people were shown the door yesterday. It wasn't a layoff but outright firing. This is after another person was fired a few months ago. I won't lie, the whole thing is making me very nervous. Is this something that's been happening more lately throughout the company?

I'm the last one standing somehow
In the last seven or eight years, I've been on teams with roughly thirty different people. Every single one of them has been let go. Every single one except for me. I should be happy that I'm still employed but I'm the opposite. The whole thing feels so dooming and all I can think about is that I'm next or if I'll bring more bad luck to my next team.
it's still rocky
does not look good at all
Tell Dell - no more eNPS Score
Heard they are no longer publishing the eNPS Score - so it must be really bad and i love it for them, but sadly no one will care.

Why are layoffs suddenly so silent
I always worry when the storm calms and things are too silent. It was clear at the start of the year and before that we had plans to enforce our hub strategy, and all he-l broke loose with several layoffs. Now it feels too quiet. What was once all this buzz about remote layoffs and reorg layoffs has become completely silent. I do not endorse the strategies, I worry about when kids are too quiet. Curious if anyone has insights on what’s around the blind corner?
Hans cried for BLM
Then he laid off 25k Call Center employees, many were black. AI is real but its being used as a tool to outsource.
Concentrix Layoffs
Layoffs keep happening since last year but they never report it as they are keeping them under the treshold that's required by state laws. Concentrix is really good when it comes playing that game. people are not stupid and all of us can see it but they do manage to keep it away from the media coverage. Anyhow, I was let go after 11 very loyal year and I did have great reviews throughout.
If you are new to Concentrix you will not see this but once you start figguring patterns of behavior of the executives, this will be so obvious.
Good luck all
Imminent Layoffs: July 2026
It’s officially time to panic. The company continues down a death spiral. Management is getting desperate. They have no answers, except get rid of people. This will be their revenge tour for the poor survey results.
Around round today - this time in Finance.
Not sure how many were involved.
More layoffs at DFS today
Lots of Scrum masters and Architects let go. Flushing years of knowledge down the drain.
IT&V rank & yank
For those of you in IT&V who have been ranked and yanked, what was your experience? Any signs ahead of time? Particular day of the week?
Dfs legacy layoffs today.
Anyone know how many were hit and which teams?
So where do we stand? No layoffs today?
I thought the bloodbath was supposed to kick off this week.
May layoff
Widespread layoff confirmed across technology, finance, modeling units.
What's the endgame?
I'm seriously asking. Is there even one? Layoffs have only managed to cut useful, productive people who were valuable to their teams and the company. I, for one, can't pick up the work left by people who were recently laid off, even if I wanted to. And I don't want to. AI isn't replacing anyone in any functional way. So the endgame is to squeeze the last drop until everything falls apart?
June layoffs at Cencora?
It's been REALLY quiet work wise. Any word on layoffs happening in June? Any specific departments or business units?
VCG layoffs??
Product SVP allegedly laid off. What’s the future for VCG?
Perella Weinberg Partners Lays Off Dozens, Including Partners
Perella Weinberg Partners announced layoffs in late May 2026. About sixty to seventy people were affected, including twelve partners. The company's first-quarter revenue and earnings fell below analyst expectations. Its strong energy investment banking sector experienced a significant decline in transactions. Management framed these reductions as strategic, not due to AI efficiency.

Algoma University Eliminates 86 Support Roles
Algoma University is eliminating 86 support staff positions. This represents about 40 percent of its support staff bargaining unit. The university projects a $16.45 million operating deficit by 2026-27. This deficit is driven by an anticipated decline in enrolment. A provincial teachers' union condemns these layoffs, citing chronic underfunding.

Saw this on Facebook…Is GAC up to its old layoff tricks?
“Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we gather more information regarding Ernie’s separation from Gulfstream.
After 20 years of dedicated service to this company, Ernie received no severance package or support. The only thing we received was a letter in the mail containing his separation paperwork. It is heartbreaking and difficult to understand how someone who devoted two decades of his life to this company could be let go, especially while facing serious health challenges.
Throughout the years, we have seen other employees receive accommodations and support while dealing with medical issues, which makes this situation even more confusing and painful for our family. Ernie is not only battling Stage 4 cancer, but he is also deaf. Given these circumstances, it is hard not to question whether he has been treated fairly.
This entire experience has been devastating for him emotionally. No one who has given so much of themselves to their employer should feel discarded during one of the most difficult times in their life.
I am committed to seeking answers and raising awareness about what has happened. If necessary, I will take this matter further because Ernie deserves someone willing to stand up for him after everything he has given to this company.
We believe Gulfstream should take a hard look at how this situation was handled. Ernie was a loyal, dependable, and hardworking employee for 20 years, and he deserved to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
If anyone has any opinions on this matter please share with me. Thank you!”
Time for that summer cut!
The ferriswheel is starting up again. Let’s improve the company’s bottom line by another deep cut. Why not, it keeps working? The leadership of this company couldn’t manage a lemonade stand. Total failures. Jetting back and forth between Jax and Cincinnati. Feeling they are the best leaders ever. The emperor has no clothes. The leadership is ineffective. Can we cut a few of them instead of people that are really making a difference? Can we cut the bloated CX / acct mgr world that does nothing? It is hard to convince clients that FIS is the company to partner with when you know it is sinking as the execs drill more holes to help.
6/15 lists turned in?
Have decisions already been made for notifications later this month?
Ominous Stock Buybacks
Canon global is artificially propping up the stock value with huge buybacks at the end of May and throughout June. They did the exact same in the 2 months right before the RIF bloodbath in early July 2024.
If CUSA leadership is planning another wave of consolidations—particularly targeting specialized or manual internal roles to make way for the automated, U.S.-based remanufacturing model, the post-July 4th window (specifically between July 6 and July 20, 2026) is the exact historical and operational sweet spot.
If you're trying to gauge the temperature in your department over the next few weeks, watch for mid-June invites to "organizational alignment" meetings, sudden, quiet audits of your division’s specific workflow volumes, or any mentions from direct managers of "proof of life" for your department to rationalize its value.
Verizon giving SMB positions to indirect retailers?
I’ve seen most indirect retailers are hiring for newly created small business account managers. Does Verizon have a plan to layoff some of their VBG employees? I’ve heard that Verizon is making the retailers hire that position. Anyone hear anything similar?
Verizon’s flagship stores on the chopping
Verizon to close more stores. Even flagship high performance corporate stores are not safe. I have direct knowledge! Keep your head down and jump to another role, plan for severance, plan for indirect takeover and interview opportunities, and/or look for another career. The stores are cooked! No store is safe!
It’s Happening
We hear the low performers are being let go. It has been confirmed excellent employees are now being let go, too.
Bahahaha
We have had our system down since Friday. Nobody knows what they are doing to try and fix it. Customers are going to be so pi---d off when we have to stop shipping because we cant process anything. This sh-tshow is before all the layoffs as well. I have literally been sitting here doing absolutely nothing for 2 days while secretly chuckling inside because I feel like this is karma
BP’s Changing of the Guard
BP will need to remove existing detrimental management and simplify its operations.
Pretty impressive reduction in leadership recently. Who is next? Will our favorite Bette Noir be shown the door? KD is a survivor and worthy player

I see jobs posted online yet the CEO wants to do more with less. Who knows which way this will go.
More on the PC spinoff speculation
Our team is coming up with a $699 computer to compete with the Apple $599 computer. If we’re a market leader, why didn’t we come up with the not a Chromebook device before Apple. The Apple will be better built and last a student all through high school. And Apple’s support bot is better than ours. I know, because I’ve used both.
It shows we no longer lead the PC market, we follow the trends. A sale or spinoff can’t be far off.
Disclosure: Like others said - mine is pure speculation. I own some Dell stock but not enough to get rich and retire yet. I’m just turning sc--w drivers and plugging in cables everyday.
As an aside, I wonder how the ‘experts’ who said to dump Dell at $150 are doing…
Halliburton layoffs
Halliburton just lost 80 percent of frac contracts to Gore Nitrogen.
3 frac crews and 1 cement crew walked out at Duncan field camp this morning.
The only question these days is when, not if
I've accepted that my time at AT&T is finite, and that the end will probably come sooner rather than later. I have to tell you, that realization's actually been freeing in a way. I don't feel the need to give any extra effort or sacrifice my evenings for a place that won't hesitate to cut me loose. Instead, now I use my working hours to look for other opportunities, to build skills that'll help me elsewhere, and to do exactly what's asked of me and nothing more. There's no point in pretending otherwise.
They can lay me off
We’ve become a joke. A punchline. At this point, I wouldn’t even be sorry to turn my back on this place.
Run FAs
Take your books and go small / independent while you can. HO will say the AI tools are to help you but they are studying you and will automate you. They watch your habits and clients closely and are making FA agents now. They will squeeze the ranks, push you into team offices, make you use AI, build client relationship with the team generally over you personally, and push you out gradually. They think a new hire with AI can do your job for much less pay. That’s the plan.
Adiós WL
It’s been something.
