I have not heard anything, just rumors. Does anyone have any info on how the landscape of S&T will change? Will DPA finally be eliminated for good? Dave’s org to be shrunken? D&AI???

Are they going to announce the next round of closures right before inventory like they did last year?

I am hearing from leadership and many others that yet another round is coming Q2ish. Has anyone else heard this? We cut some of the most insanely needed departments, what else could we cut?

Keene State College is addressing a four-million-dollar budget shortfall by cutting dozens of jobs. Of the 25 positions eliminated, eight were vacant and 12 faculty members agreed to leave under a voluntary incentive plan. Most cuts take effect on January 2nd, with the remaining ones following early next year. The school’s deficit follows nearly 18 million dollars in cuts to the University System of New Hampshire.

Anyone out there know how bad the layoffs will be on 12/18? Which locations?

Edgewell Personal Care told the state Department of Labor and Milford Mayor Tony Giannattasio that 293 jobs will be eliminated as part of the factory's closure, with the first round of layoffs starting in March.

My team was pretty small to begin with … my best guesstimate is that roughly 25 to 50 percent got laid off. Gutted!

Were any in the reseller alliance channel? I have heard of a couple there. Is this area going away?

Noticed some stores are not staying open as late this holiday season. Is that a sign they are on the chopping list? Seems to be quite a bit of overlap between that and the earlier closing stores, at least in the DMV.

The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department is preparing to lay off 22 people in December.

The move comes in response to expected federal and state funding cuts, said Kenny Via, a spokesperson for the public health agency.

All stores are underperforming (according to the corporate office), so that means fewer employees who will be pushed to do twice the work! You should be looking for a new job now. Be prepared to be called into the office after the holidays.

My whole office is being taken over by Indirect and our positions are being eliminated. The agent was in our store recruiting within the first hour of opening the doors. The effective date is 1/1.

I don't know how it will feel to work the holidays knowing it all ends 12/31. I will take care of people that come in the way I would help a friend, but the numbers, the quotas, the lead calls... none of it matters. I am surprised a bit that we would be kept on board through the eoy, but I supposed they would rather have people clerking in the store for revenue, vs. dealing with a store that can't operate?

Mid-Markets to be cut in half. Calls have already been sent out of EST. This will be a total shake up, if you survive you will not have the same title or job scope Jan 1. Get prepared for them to make more money on your backs.

At least so far. We won't be able to function without them, so I'm assuming either the rest of us will be laid off as well or reassigned to other teams. This will be a long day.

I heard from our AVP and SVP today that all of our department’s roles in El Segundo are being made redundant and backfilled to Dallas. So it’s either pack up your bags and join the herd in Downtown Dallas or leave.

I can confirm 179 stores to be closed and down to two markets West and East. Not 100% sure what that means for head counts but 2 MPs left and not sure if 2 RVPs will retain their positions.
