Getting to see posts from those involved, sharing in real time, is incredibly sad and validating. There is a lot of value in that. Not making light of the real pain being experienced. However, the Theater of the Absurd in upon us. Then Theresa flips... — read more
Client office
I wake up every day thinking if I will lose my job today. Not how I can service clients. And did she just say everyone will get raises and they will be good? Who is everyone? And in July?
It’s hard to stay motivated watching this unfold.
The stock is down 34% in a year and 65% over five years. Meanwhile, inside the company, we’ve lived through constant restructures: minimal pay rises, responsibility changes, de-levelling, demotions, removal of ratings, mass exits, elimination of... — read more
I have a feeling FT will drop the contract entirely.
Am I alone in thinking that? They are already moving CS which is a big portion of the process. What is keeping them from moving everything back? They are obviously not happy with the work that is done by FIS. I can't even imagine how bad the... — read more
Sub 50
This ship is sinking. Good Job Execs. Guess the 10% dividend boost didn't matter and your shareholders see the writing on the wall. Bye bye C Levels. Just a matter of a short period of time here. Should be a fun next few months.
What is up in Jacksonville- lots of security
What is going on in Jacksonville, more layoffs? Board on site?
Why was the earnings call pushed out?
Any ideas? Or am I just starting to see issues everywhere?
Meanwhile back at the Franklin Templeton Ranch...
tax forms were delayed. Shareholders must have their 1099 DIV/B or R to file. This is a critical, highly regulated function. Today, they appeared on the websites, then magically, deliciously disappeared because FIS is a fintech company with cr-ppy... — read more
FIS Belgrade Office
Does anybody knows what is going on there? They fired the main guy (which is good :D) he was a je-k and bunch of people. My understanding would be from my friends that company there is in chaos, a lot of people planning to leave. (a lot of people... — read more
Quiet firing versus layoffs
I’ve seen people get slowly starved of chances until they leave on their own with no raises, no projects, and no recognition. It starts to feel like getting pushed out without the paperwork. Makes me wonder if this quiet push out is happening more... — read more
Quality/Productivity reviews
Would be curious to see company wide numbers on this. Certain divisions have suffered under the low morale. There is little incentive to perform. It's only a matter of time for the rest. The C Suite does not care at all. When will their customers... — read more

FIS Dev India: Many underestimate AI threat while happily working to make it happen…
“The technology sector faces perhaps the most dramatic transformation. Indian IT services firms, which built empires on providing entry-level coding and testing services, now face existential threats to their business models. When AI can write... — read more
Pay increases are a joke
They don't even match inflation. With everything put together, morale is circling the drain. And do I trust them to find a competent CEO now? Absolutely not.
Internal Promos / Merit
Listening to HR discuss how to move up in your career is such a joke. The company is reducing expense everywhere they can, eliminating positions, and have completely shut off the promotion pool as part of the yearly promo / merit changes. If you... — read more
Prayers have been Answered! Ferris is getting the boot!
Well, it’s finally happening. Word from the top floor is that SF is officially getting the boot. An exec (who shall remain nameless) confirmed that the Board of Directors spent most of last week in a "closed-door" session. The vibe was tense, and the... — read more
FIS Crash?
Down almost 10% today to $51 (a new 52 week low) - what happened?
Fire Stephanie and her cronies!
This lady and her puppets are ridiculous. If we could all be so fortunate to get paid millions of dollars to run companies to the ground none of us would worry about being laid off. Contracts for these people are ridiculous. You know even if she was... — read more
Severance Packages, DOL, and older employees
All I have heard regarding those packages were people had a 24 hour response time or it was being withdrawn. Is that true? There are also 21 - 45 day acceptance of severance packages in the US depending on your status. Are those being... — read more

Not in the media??
With FIS being a massive company why are these layoffs not making the media?
No layoffs for a while?
Can we at least relax for a few months now that this round is over?
To us ‘unimportant people’
Hope you all have a great weekend. Hopefully you survived this last round. But I expect several/many more this year.
What is the Battle Damage Assessment (BDA)?
For those who were laid off, condolences. Don't sign anything without examining it carefully or, if you think appropriate, have an attorney review it. For those with long careers, please invoke the Rule of 70 when discussing your severance. It has to... — read more
The stock is dropping as FIS is not buying its own shares
Smart minds would bet they had to keep market cap (stock price) at certain point due to covenants in divestiture. Otherwise deal would have been off table. Board needs to start acting like a board
A failing leadership team
In all my years here, the leadership has never been worse. They consistently make poor decisions that demoralize everyone. How do they keep their jobs while the company suffers?
The BOD is back in town...
Any news on how the meetings are going?
FIS stock down 32%, Expect more RIFs....
That is not easy to do when most Financials are hitting all time high with the S&P, Congrats FIS Sr. Executives !!!!

Title Changes after TSYS merger
Today I noticed my auto signature was deleted. Then I find out they changed the titles for everyone in our department. This is exactly what they did after the WorldPay merger. 50% were let go less than a year later.

Is early retirement really bad?

Use Copilot for everything, just kidding
SF and KB talk up Copilot all day long, its the reason we can rif so many people. But then they took away the ability to record meetings and get transcriptions. One step forward four steps back
When people ask why some of us are still here
I hate the company culture and all the layoffs, but I have a fantastic manager and great coworkers. That's so rare and it's the only reason I'm still here. I don't want to risk that, even with everything else.
