Zensar Belgrade Office

It seems that most of the people in Serbia refused the move to the Zensar because the comtract is much worse than FIS. Managers started to threaten the employees. Whats the situation in other offices?

It is true, they all refused to transfer to Zensar. They consulted an attorney and sent a counter offer with their demands to Zensar. We’ll see what happen.

@av @av Based on what I heard, both are flat-footed, underestimating people and their legal rights. Serbian law is not American or Indian labour law. We will see.

The situation on the Serbian market is very bad. Even one of the most capable and connected people, like our ex-director, is struggling to find a new job. What regular people can expect.

Threatening, huh? 🤔 Funny how only two managers pulled that stunt, and the worst one got the boot while the other got demoted.

I heard that the affected teams under the Capital Market Umbrella were rebadged for Zensar, but I'm not 100% how accurate that is.

Good for them! Not sure what the alternative employment situation would be there, maybe some of those employees can share, if they'd like? But, if their refusal to move under those circumstances catches FIS flatfooted, as we say here in the US, then mon congrats! Wishing you all well as you look for better opportunities for you and your families!
