Roberta R takes the helm, Jess G. out. The rest of the team looks “safe”. Wonder what other units consolidated in the next few months.

SEs in FY27
Are SEs being "pooled"? I don't think I will have the same success if SEs are pooled and not 1:1 with us.
No regrets
I wanted out for a while, so this is doing me a favor. I feel bad for my teammates who'll have more work now, but it is what it is. I leave happy.
Any of the slackers laid off for once?
Those on my team always manage to survive.

Anil Team told to stay home tomorrow
Not good, this is not frontier only
The current situation has been extremely difficult, with excessive pressure and a clear feeling of favouritism affecting the overall environment
The working environment within the MBP QA team was disappointing, with unprofessional behaviour and attitudes affecting team morale and collaboration.
The Anatomy of an Efficient Office Day
Figured I’d use AI to create this since AI is our future. Thanks copilot!
A chronological descent into corporate madness.
06:30 AM | The Commute of Champions
Spend 55 minutes staring at brake lights because burning gas and inhaling highway fumes is the ultimate prelude to productivity.07:25 AM | The Hunger Games: Parking Edition
Waste 15 minutes circling the concrete labyrinth just to park half a mile away, then walk to the building like a corporate nomad.07:40 AM | The Hoteling Ritual
Spend 20 minutes hunting down an unassigned, sterile cubicle and plugging in cords like you're setting up a temporary command center in a disaster zone.08:00 AM | The Mandatory Weekend Recap
Endure 40 minutes of grueling small talk about Brenda's nephew's soccer tournament and Dave’s lawn aeration schedule. You cannot escape.08:40 AM | The Stealth Hydration Mission
Take 15 minutes to carefully plot a route to the restroom and coffee machine, attempting to dodge eye contact with anyone who might ask "how's it going?"08:55 AM | Actual Work (The Rare In-Between)
A shocking, uninterrupted 60-minute window where you actually perform the tasks you are paid to do. Cherish it.09:55 AM | The Pre-Meeting Packing Migration
Pack up your entire digital life 15 minutes early because God forbid you "squat" on a shared cube while you migrate to a different floor for a meeting.10:10 AM | The Disappearing Desk Era
Lose 90 minutes of your life to a 60-minute meeting because the first 15 were spent figuring out the conference room HDMI adapter and the last 15 were "organic banter."11:40 AM | The Power Lunch Sprint
Shove food down your throat in exactly 23 minutes so you aren't late for the next round of synergistic alignment.12:03 PM | Sensory Decompression Walk
Spend 15 minutes pacing the perimeter of the building just to regulate your nervous system after surviving the deafening roar of the company cafeteria.12:18 PM | The Hallway Ambush
Attempt to return to a desk but get cornered by a manager for 20 minutes of unsolicited "brainstorming."12:38 PM | The Cult of Collaboration
Sprint to the next room because arriving late to a 90-minute slide-deck reading is a sin against the company culture.02:08 PM | The 443-Minute Meltdown
Look at the clock. Exactly 443 minutes of your waking life have passed since you arrived at the office, mostly spent pretending to care about things that don't matter.02:11 PM | The Personal Hogwash Trap
Try to use the restroom again. Get trapped for 20 minutes hearing about someone's upcoming kitchen remodel.02:31 PM | The Final Stand
Sit down and frantically work for 51 minutes, typing at 120 words per minute with pure, adrenaline-fueled rage.03:22 PM | The Great Escape
Spend 15 minutes shutting down, packing your backpack, and walking toward freedom.03:37 PM | The Doorstop Conversation
Get stopped for 5 minutes right at the exit by someone who "just wanted to catch you real quick."03:42 PM | The Commute Home (Part II)
Spend 55 minutes crawling back home in gridlock, contemplating every life choice that led to this moment.
The Hard Truth Math
Total Time Invested: 10 Hours (600 Minutes)
Actual Time Spent Working: 111 Minutes
>
Total Time Wasted on "Culture": 8.1 Hours
If this day happened at home, we all would have finished actual work before lunch, attended the meetings while comfortably and wouldn't need a stiff drink just to survive the evening once you got home.
But hey, at least management got to see your face in a cubicle. Culture!
New hires posting and trashing current and former coworkers
What is going on at CDW?
We have new hires and overseas contractors fighting with current and former coworkers.
We have current and former coworkers fighting with new hires and overseas contractors.
So much for being a "family" working together to gain market share and making things better.
Sell clover already, we are done with this Sh-t.
We are extremely frustrated with the delays and inefficiencies in processes involving Fiserv. Urgent issues require escalation, yet the communication channels themselves are creating obstacles. We are repeatedly asked to send emails, wait for responses, and then continue follow-ups, often with little progress.
As a result, critical deadlines are being missed, project momentum is being lost, and teams are spending more time managing communication challenges than delivering outcomes. The situation is impacting productivity, focus, and overall team morale. A more responsive and effective engagement model is urgently needed.

Safer from layoffs on larger team ?
Do you feel employees are safer from layoffs if they’re on a larger team versus smaller team or does it just not matter?
Salesforce Platform Strategic Enablement team
A major reorganization is coming for the SPSE team. Leadership is unhappy that too many employees don’t have clearly defined responsibilities or measurable deliverables.
DS teams in CS
have CyberS DS teams delivered in the last year? I am glad I was pushed out of that toxic sycophantic environment.
Isg irvine entire team gone??
I hear entire ppdm team was laid off??
True???
QA/LCAR Got Hit Hard With Layoffs Today
Several teams across several Managers got laid off mostly at core sites (Chandler/TX), too). While it wasn’t totally unexpected, us hourly employees usually just got moved to a new team and all was good, but not this time. There were appx 15 on our team who got let go. Not sure if the Managers were displaced as well.
FDE member implementing AI in production support
I work in Production delivery team. We have a new team member with "FDE" as job title and is hired from Cognizant
Team leadership has been advised to create process documents for all the work and share with FDE.
FDE is Forward Deployment Engineer who will have domain knowledge and deliver the work with the use of AI.
Counting the exits
I've been looking at how much my team has shrunk over the past year and it's pretty alarming. Some of that was layoffs, but a lot of it was people simply choosing to leave. I'm wondering if other teams are seeing the same thing or if it's just us.
How to get a good Sponsor?
How do I get a Sponsor? I just transferred to another team and I do not know any of the Supervisors like the others on the team do. I need a sponsor obviously to be able to get a ranking that will allow me to keep my job, so how do I go about getting a good sponsor?
Combine support positions
Will belk combine truck, merch team, housekeeping & fulfillment like Macys just started doing?
Telling your PL?
If you applied for the VSP did/are you telling your PL? I did not. If my PL asks I will tell them I did.
I wonder if my PL applied if they would tell the team?
UK LR notification completed?

This is interesting
I’m slaving away working my four carts. Trying to get it all put out fast so me CPH will be high and I won’t go over me time….IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Sweat rolling off my face.
Then I see this ONE cart that three Walmart people are working on… they each pick up one case at a time walk down the aisle where it goes they come back and they chat, giggle take a few minutes. Take a few more minutes. They’re having a good ole time.
I’m thinking WHAT!!.. In my brain. Guess I took a moment too (Giggle)
Sweat still rolling down me face as I have to get back on the hamster wheel.
Just thought I would share that.
From Watching Layoffs to Feeling Like I'm Next
Last year, 85% of my team was laid off and replaced with an offshore team in India. Watching so many talented colleagues lose their jobs was incredibly difficult, and now it feels like I'm slowly being pushed out too. It's hard not to feel uncertain about my future. Has anyone else been through something like this or felt the same way?
New AVP and Layoffs?
Just found out that a Director who is known for being a bully to her team, not a good leader and hard to work with was just promoted to an AVP. They are promoting the wrong people while laying off the ones who actually care and are servant leaders to the business.
TANZU
What ID10T thought product name up? Glad I finally said it.
work scope creep
coworker got laid off few months back and i had to absorb 100% of his workload and was thanked for being a team player and stepping up, now i get feedback on not being fast enough with that added workload. is this a strategy to push me out?
All KYC and Central Banker account opening being offshores
We were unexpectedly pulled into a team meeting by our C13 yesterday, which was unusual. After the 50% layoff on June 10, we were informed that the layoffs are not finished. The remaining members of our team are expected to be let go sometime within the next couple of months as the work is being offshored.
We were also told that the remaining KYC functions in the U.S. will be offshored in waves throughout the rest of the year.
Heartland Gulf OD Bias Has Created Toxic Culture
Our OD’s bias has created a toxic culture work environment. His comments about people on our team and those that support our team are sickening. He is NEVER willing to give anyone a fair chance cause of what he hears from others and what he perceives. He is NEVER is willing to listen to other opinions and thoughts. Our OD will never be held accountable for his bias and comments that are toxic.
Can’t you just go back to your previous team?
I have been moved around to multiple teams since COVID (same job title and same pay, though). It appears our team will probably be laid off by this next Tuesday after payday as the work we did is being handled by original team that should have been working the cases anyway., but my question is, has anyone had success convincing HR to let you go back to your previous team vs. being displaced? I mean, it’s not my fault I am on the team that I am on. I was just flexible and adaptable but I would really like to go back to one of my previous teams rather than being laid off.
Knew It
MK post about the World Cup. Wanted to be a soccer player but life took different path. But the game taught him the importance of teamwork, adapting to new environments and staying focused.
Wonder if any rank & file will be invited to the final at NY/NJ Stadium.
Death by metrics
Unless they add a time in the cr@&$er these level up and rev up metrics are gonna ki-l my team
More in office time soon
TM mentioned in my 1x1 from one of their meetings with the SM that the additional in office time is having the intended effect/results and believes that because of this "success" more time in office will come sooner rather than later. Could be nothing but I thought it was interesting to say the least.
Green
Does anyone know the trick to keep teams status green, even if you are curled up in the fetal position on the floor?
Who's safe?
Do you know of any teams that survived all recent layoffs intact?
Gotta hand it to him...
Frank was a miserable little criminal troll. Mike had the personality and warmth of a snow pea. Takis is pretty personable and has said the right things. I don't like the idea of not automatically replacing attrition, but nothing has changed in that regard. Having been in meetings with him, he's so curious and inquisitive. I hope we are in good hands. Time will tell.
