I want to stay one more year but I don’t think I can do it. I can’t stand this place anymore where it’s ki-ling my soul slowly.

Approaching the salary and bonus review process in April, does anyone have any information or heard anything on whether there will be layoff in 2026?

Heard internally 14th was layoffs - 15th comp day. What is everyone hearing?

US corporate employees received messaging to work remotely on Thursday January 15th 2026. Reasoning was to facilitate multiple meetings regarding department changes. Very similar tone to last year's email. Staff is worried.

Looks like ASE service installs have come to a crawl thanks to GPON. Has anyone heard rumor of surplus in Engineering? We have very little work. Scary ! 😱

Managers will know tomorrow who’s impacted on their team and it will be 23rd instead 22nd.

I don't understand why leadership has to be so secretive about something that profoundly impacts our lives. We've all been stressed out for a while, speculating about what's coming and when. It's paralyzing.

There is about to be a big layoff coming. Watch come March.

Doesn't mean it isn't coming but there's no WARN notice in WA state or the state I work in currently.

Unhappy ending

There was a post months back that was probably right. 2026 is about hiring freezes and attrition with the big layoff for 2027 which will hit later this year. So, rest assured regardless of your situation the company does not care about you. It’s a machine. Stop living in the past, those days are long gone.

What happened?

My schedule is only full over the next 2 weeks. After that, it starts to be 1/2 full at most. How is everyone else’s? I’m guessing I’m on of the ones being laid off? Texas FNP.

Mills being closed and not much movement at corporate.

I'm hearing everything from Tuesday/Wednesday this week to cuts starting on the 20th. Can anybody say with certainty what the date is?

What can we expect this week for layoffs? If the big boss is watching please surplus me ! I can’t say who I am on here because of my colleagues. But being ATT you should be able to figure it out.

Is it just me, or does it feel to you like were living in The Traitors game show. Every day the Faithful try their hardest to generate cash, meanwhile the Traitors (HR in our case) are weighing us all up for the Ax, then they invite the unlucky ones into a room alone to tell them the bad news ... meanwhile the rest of the company carry on regardless and only learn who has gone when they don't turn up the next morning (no official announcement of anything).

We even have our own Donna Kelce (Secret Traitor) who provides the Traitors lists of potential unfortunates to be cut - I can reveal, the Secret Traitor - its ATHINA KANIOURA S&T Chief !

Seriously though, isn't it just like living in The Traitors, every night you get a terrible sleep wondering if tomorrow morning it will be your last. Big obvious difference - we don't get to banish the Traitors, only the Secret Traitor gets to do that. Oh and this show goes on for a decade ...

Job changes? Lay offs? When will we know.

Hearing rumors of something big coming 2Q26 - refining specifically, possibly selling refiner(y)ies or a big restructure. Anybody hear anything big?

I've heard some whispers that there shouldn't be any layoffs at least until the next quarter. I don't know if it's true, but thought I'd share just in case. If anybody knows more, let us know.

With the uncertainty within the federal sector and new PEGA trial, how soon before layoffs are announced?

I can deal with mass layoffs. I can't deal with this guessing game and back and forth on whether it's happening.
