You guys are worried about your jobs but committing time card fraud

If I was worried about losing my job. I would make sure I was doing what I was supposed to be doing, and where I am supposed to be. If you leave the building and don’t clock out or lie about it that’s time card fraud. You will be put on a PIP and volunteering yourself if there is a next layoff. Also, time fraud will get you the boot so fast you won’t know what hit you. So, if you’re super worried about your job I would do your job.

EOY. Actions ?

So , now we are in Q4. What do you anticipate mgmt doing ? Firing long timers who have been mid year “ almost meets” after many years of no issues ? Does anyone have the law firm that folks in the US have been going to ? I feel like my day is on the horizon.

Paranoid or out to get me?

Case management here. Had stand in sup review some time management issues with me, which I have corrected. A few days later I get told I'm being written up for poor audit proformance. The audit looked sketchy, was not in any format I've ever seen and made it look like I hadn't done 80% of my job, even though all documents where in place. I advised sup of this w proof of work and they looking into it. I've been here a while and come to terms that I might be part of layoffs one day and prepared mentally for it. I haven't prepared mentally for being fired out of the blue though. Anyone experiencing this or got any feedback? Thanks

Best people will be impacted once again

I'd like to think this will be performance-base, but we all know that's never been true. They'll get rid of the highest earners who are usually the highest performers as well, crippling the company once again. Layoffs would be easier to swallow if they ever made sense.

Can you get fired for saying anything bad about working at Fidelity?

Let’s hypothetically say I was texting my friend saying that Fidelity is a bad place to work for, or other things negative about Fidelity. Things like “Fidelity su-ks”, “this is a trash a-s company”, or other reasons why Fidelity su-ks. And then someone shows Fidelity HR my comments about me complaining about Fidelity.

In this hypothetical situation, could I get fired for that? Thanks in advance.

Chandler CEO Town Hall Tomorrow

Heard from someone in the know that Schart isn’t going to directly talk about layoffs during the town hall, but heard he will be making remarks about leveraging AI and that its going to be sold under the guise of being able to help make our current jobs “easier”. YEAH, JUST BEFORE WE GET LAID OFF AND REPLACED BY A ROBOT!

If you get laid off from Ford in October, this won’t help

Any idea how many people might actually end up being impacted?

I mean, after the voluntary exits are counted. I’m honestly worried about the possibility of losing my job. I’ve been casually looking at what’s out there, but the market keeps looking tougher and tougher. Finding something new, or even managing the gap between jobs, feels almost impossible right now. I’m anxious that a lot of us could still end up on the chopping block.
