Hearing rumors that the notice period has been reduced from 60 days to 30 days. No official update from Aramco on this however. Can anyone confirm? Has there been an official communication? Does it apply to all expats/Grade codes?
If this reflects a change to contract, doesn't this need to be communicated?
Are layoffs still happening this month?

How does the benefits work after the 60 day WARN period? Do you take COBRA for health insurance or by any chance do you get full benefits until your severance runs off? I.e. Citi contributes to your medical benefits until the end of the severance pay period
Thanks
It looks like the program I've been assigned to for the past 6 years is slowly being dismantled - there is no appetite to spend time & resources on risk reduction/mitigation strategies any more.
We're expecting to hear next week if the company is truly stepping away from our effort's goals. If that ends up being the decision, how long does our team have before we:

If you are over 40 years old (in the US) you will have 21 days to evaluate the severance once it is presented you. Based on previous layoffs, it would appear Synopsys is paying at least 60 days of regular salary and benefits, in lieu of a WARN notice.
