People actually expected any other answers to those sorts of questions? They're just the stock answers any leaders in any company give to every question like that, and have done for the 40 years I've had to work for a living. Apart from anything else, It would be nuts from a legal perspective to say anything even remotely suggesting that any individuals or groups would or wouldn't be getting a pay rise, would or wouldn't be laid off, etc.
What is the point of focal or RSU - bo guarantee you will be employed to have them in your account. Likely will cut you few days before it is due as down this round for remote employees with 3 days notice.
