Hearing a lot about a 10-20% reduction tomorrow. Anyone have any details on orgs, roles, etc that may be impacted?

Hoping the best for everyone.

Morale is extremely low across the multiple teams I work with.

Feels horrible waiting around for the next big wave which is 100% coming before the next earnings due in February.

Anyone heard any rumors of when this is happening?

It seems we always have bigger layoffs right around earnings time and I’m getting nervous. There is an absence of transparency where there was in the past, speaking for myself only. Earnings call on Feb 4

Why are company managers traveling to several remote locations this week and next? Are they preparing for more reductions or changes? PAC Northwest locations, Salt Lake, Tempe and Albuquerque sites are all bracing for quick turnaround meetings where leaders fly in for 2-3 hours, splash around, assess the morale and then fly out??? Seems strange in an era of cost savings. Who else is seeing this type of activity?

Today I noticed my auto signature was deleted. Then I find out they changed the titles for everyone in our department.
This is exactly what they did after the WorldPay merger. 50% were let go less than a year later.

If I see an HR person on the call, I know I'm gone before anything has been said.

Is there a way to know if cuts are done or if there'll be more?

Rumour has it some of the old guard are coming back and rebranding into a new processing shop - hands up who would abandon their ship to join ( my hands are up!)

We were told today that one BD in CA is gone and one in Batavia. Does anyone know if they got laid off or were fired or something? Or if there are more?

heard TX, ID, and Kansas City had layoffs… what department? team? always hearing through the grapevine. who is next? where is next? why can we never find this out?

Has there been any new information about the layoffs that are supposed to happen next month? I'm checking to see if anything has been confirmed yet.

Microsoft‘s communications chief did something unusual this month. He publicly shot down layoff rumors before they could metastasize. When anonymous posts on Reddit and Blind claimed the company planned to cut up to 22,000 jobs in January, Frank Shaw took to X with an unequivocal response, calling the reports “100 percent made up/speculative/wrong.”

I'm not liking the quiet, feels too much like a storm is brewing.

I have heard that more layoffs have started. Can anyone confirm?

we'll all go nuts before it's over. That's months of sustained anxiety on top of the regular stress and bloated workload. I'm already exhausted. Within a month, I'll probably be wishing they'd lay me off, job and bills be damned, just so I'm no longer dealing with all this. Sometimes I wonder how we all manage to survive and stay relatively healthy.

Any rumors about when they'll do more cuts? Its hard to just wait around not knowing what's next.

This is a horrible sign for corporate staff! I have a strong feeling they plan to do mass layoffs prior to 2/2 and that's why they halted the move so suddenly.
Why they didn't figure this out sooner is beyond me. Not much shocks me here though.
