CFO Michael Baron Maguire sold 13,000 shares worth $651,690 on 1/26.
Truist Culture
I can always get behind a culture that pushes you hard to grow. I can’t deal with one that disrespects everyone and belittles anyone based on rank. It’s stupid. A job here isn’t worth any dollar amount. Bill is a creepy dude. Why work here? What does... — read more
first 2026 Purpose Corner
Bill is incredibly pompous and smug. Dude is out of touch and needs to resign ASAP!
Up or Down? (First Post)
1st post - I’ve checked in here for a while on and off occasionally and my sentiment is largely the same. Full disclosure - I left a while ago. What if this forum could coordinate our frustrations and impact (even small positive) change? Yeah, I... — read more
What's up with FTEs having to log timesheets?
Is anyone else required to log their timesheets starting Monday? Or is it just heritage Enterprise Technology/EDO? And does anybody know the reason behind the request?
The Game
So far, I participated in two calls today. There were multiple presenters/speakers on each call. None of which were RTO including the majority of attendees for these two calls. I know these individuals & I am very familiar with the BU's. This RTO... — read more
Layoffs in Q1?
Heard of a group under CSBB that got let go this morning. Any info on if more are coming?
Cuts to pay for AI investments
Truist is planning on 22k plus. Just an FYI
Winter Weather
Just a quick rant….why in all that is holy do we have to wait for management, who does not live in a location where they are dealing with ongoing below freezing temperatures and lasting impacts of the winder storm that hit this past weekend, to... — read more
FTE compliance related terminations
I’ve heard that some FTEs who are no longer with Truist were dismissed due to compliance issues. This is surprising, as several of them were high performers and strong contributors to Truist. Can someone shed light on what compliance issues led to... — read more
Just a thought
I don’t think Truist has enough office space to fit everyone. I traveled at a few of their office locations(ATL, CLT, Raleigh/Greensboro). It doesn’t look like there is enough room. Especially in the Charlotte office and the new Battery location.
Truist "open" tomorrow for folks in the path of the ice storm?
Just curious if any impacted teammates have received SIREN notifications about the status of their offices/branches tomorrow.
I just miss SunTrust
Things were just so much better before this "merger of equals". We had to adapt to inferior BBT policies and procedures and technology despite the lies of choosing the best options.
Is a PIP a death sentence?
My coworker got a performance plan and he's treating it like a notice to leave. He's not trying to improve, just looking for a new job. Is that the standard outcome?
Clarification needed for Teammates w/5 day in office requirement
For teammates that are required to be in office 5 days a week for work, are they required to work from home when inclement weather prohibits them from getting to the office? It would seem if in office teammates are unable to effectively collaborate... — read more
When's the next cut coming?
Heard anything new about more people getting let go? Trying to figure out if I need to start lookin for something else real soon.
Stock Price
In the year 2000, the avg stock price between BB&T and Suntrust was $37.88 per share. In 2000!!!!! It’s hovering around $51 per share now. Horrific return for shareholders but somehow Bill’s compensation keeps climbing? Throw the thief out!!!
Merit
1.75% for pay grades 110 and up.
AVP
I was hired as an AVP and I see ridicule associated with AVP. What is the backstory?
Resignation no notice
Has quitting without notice at Truist become the new normal? In my group, several people have recently left the same day they resigned—no two-week notice, no transition period. That used to be the standard, but it seems like a lot of folks here are... — read more
Palantir
Just in case my matters to you, Truist is working with Palantir. Do with that what you will 🤷🏻♀️

Company culture is COOKED
"The issue isnt the RTO. Its the inconsistency of the how it's applied. Some entire teams and some teammates remain remote despite the mandate. Others have assigned desks and don't show up at all? Yes this is still happening. Others coffee-swipe and... — read more
What happened at the Orlando ops center yesterday??
Tons of cops, building evacuated for hours, teammates who were unable to grab their laptops stuck in the parking lot. Drones flying over the building…and not a word mentioned.
Layoffs
Does anyone realize once you are laid off you will not be rehired. Doesn’t matter who you know. There is a systematic shift to not rehire. Make sure you are good to go for years before letting go of your job!
Credit card rate cap
This will cause a big drop in bank revenue which will cause a lot of layoffs. Why anyone would work for a bank at this stage is mind blowing. The bank model for human workers is shrinking by the day.
Early retirement packages?
Any chance they’ll offer these in 2026?
Mods in here getting delete happy
Read this while you can because the mods will delete it soon. They are deleting so many replies; half the new threads don’t even make siense anymore. Pathetic. Ok, now wait to see how long til this gets deleted. 5:37pm EST
The end game of RTO is to get you to quit
50 weeks left. Hang in there.

CCGs?

Update
Captains Log 01092026. What a joke with this return to office mandate. There is zero consistency.

RTO Smoke

RTO
RTO so I can join teams calls all day. This sure makes a lot of sense.
Do you have your outfit picked out for RTO tomorrow?
It's important to make a good impression. Everyone will be there! Some of you will even be sharing the same desk and chair!
What an absolute failure the name Truist has been
