I keep hearing mentions and whispers of reorgs. Anyone have insight to that? What areas are involved and when?

Any thoughts on when we can expect it?

I mean something useful and at least somewhat credible. We all know major layoffs are coming, so it would be great to have a heads-up. And let’s be kind to each other, losing our jobs would be tough. The job market out there isn’t exactly cheerful or full of options.

Overheard a conversation with senior leaders, speaking to other senior leaders about layoffs in customer service at all capacities happening in the beginning of the year. They forgot to hang up the phone and the conversation continued.

I understand that they laid off employees in October and they encouraged them to reapply for their positions. Does anyone have information on how many were let go and how many have been brought back? I've heard they were considering external candidates because those who were let go were unofficially not meeting expectations. Is there any truth to this?

Rumor has it that state street posts the positions after a U.S. employee leaves for 30 days but either freezes or pulls it so they can justify adding it to the H1B pool.

Looking into 2026, there is alot of chatter around yet another sales reorganization, one that is more aggressive and drastic than any we have seen in prior years. Look back at the investments that have been made in both New Brunswick inside sales in addition to the Texas based inside sales offices - neither are by accident.
I've heard a few different "values", but what's consistent is the message that more customer relationships will be moving to both the Canada and Texas inside teams, with only customers billing in excess of $75,000 annually ($6,000 monthly) staying in the field.
I don't have specific insight into what this means regarding manpower , but common sense would quickly say that there is a large reduction coming into the sales organization - reps, managers, and specialists.

Is anyone else hearing anything more on this topic?

Some rumors say there won’t be any at all, others say it’ll be offered across multiple orgs before layoffs hit. Can anyone actually confirm which is true?

If the rumors are true, not only will there be a major reorg with entire teams vanishing, but massive layoffs across the board too. Oh well, it’s not like I ever thought my job here was secure, and I don’t like it enough to be upset about losing it anyway.

And you know who gets caught up in these LRs, right? It seems that SBD expanded too fast and sales do not match. Significant strategic mistake made by our high-paid c-suite.

As a result, they are looking at 10%-15% reduction in Q1 2026. Mostly in overhead positions like engineering and management. Operations (hourly) will also be impacted.

Rumors saying (take what it's worth), RIF lists are due today:
1) Departments told up to 25% cut (my guess is they will just cut 1-3 ratings until they meet their number, don't know if it all be in one chop or if they will do it in phases)
2) Some VPs made list without input from their direct reports (who would be managing the impacted person), which is really bad but par for the course here
3) Company is too top heavy so expect VPs/Sr directors to be cut

on a related note:
1) Lots of leaders have NOT been told yet to calibrate ratings down. Which could mean A) it doesnt matter since RRP/raise will be little to nothing, or B) they will do it last minute in January
