Heard there was a call this morning with FTEs.

All managers of sites concerned have been told to make a list. Voluntary RIF Notifications to go around the end of November to early December with terminations taking place by mid to end of January. like before people will be given the option to voluntarily apply. The candidates will be chosen by the end of December and people will be notified the beginning of January

Tomorrow layoff, check your emails in morning. All the best

Any truth to it? I don’t personally know anyone, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Word on the FIS layoff thread is that TSYS team members who are moving over there will be laid off this month.

Notification went out today to TSYS team members who will remain part of GP and will not move to FIS. Current legal entity is TSYS and that will shift to Global Payments.

I’ve seen some previous posts on NJ WARN but no real clarification on whether VZ has filed/notified. Sounds like they have been able to skirt this in the past, but I assume not this time with significant layoffs happening in a 30 day period.

Our team got butchered in software and we're still concerned if all notifications have been sent out and it's just waiting on the interview or if more are coming?

Have you been told your fate? Please share when it was communicated to you.

Employees received announcement of layoff, sent home and instructed to work from home. More instructions are to come.

That’s how it’s always been - the notices go out the day of the layoffs.

The EVP sent out an email stating that the notifications have been delivered. So if you did not hear anything, you are safe!

What type of communication has been received by those who think they will be let go? I have heard from someone that they will be told details at the end of day from their manager on 10/29 and also would need to meet before business hours in person on 10/30. Leads this person to believe the will be let go…thoughts?

apparently there will be multiple going out. So hang in there if you get one in another wave it may just be a reorg. But I think the first wave is the 9-915 meeting, strong possibility that’s a lay off and anything later may be something else

Got the layoff email from Melissa - 9am ct today.

How is tomorrow going to unfold? This one isn't like the last one (2015). There was no notice ahead of time.

Is it an email, phone call, something else? I'm guessing since we're working from home, it's not a meeting, unless they call you in, which seems a bit too cruel even for this place. I'm sorry if this is common knowledge, but I'm new here and new to layoffs in general.

How will they be notified since people do not sit in a designated spot? If they turn off access, they wouldn't even get an email for a meeting....

Hello Folks. The last round was just over on 10/23. The next round is fast approaching. Employment at ATT is like paying utility bills - it happens monthly and don't know the number (in this case employees impacted).

I heard there was more layoffs this week? Who was affected?

Does anyone know if we will we receive any layoff email at midnight or later in the morning on Tuesday?

So our site is getting closed next week. How does the displacement go down? Do they send you an invite the day prior to come onsite the next day and drop off your laptop and badge? Since there’s hundreds of us in the site curious how this will go down or is it just a virtual phone call and then we ship our laptops back? We’ve heard leadership will be onsite so just not sure what the protocol is.

Heard the cuts come on 27th. Decisions about names already made.

And is everyone on the list supposed to find out that same day?

At least it won’t be a drawn-out process, which would only make things worse. Good luck to everyone.
