Ive got oil routes, headwinds, "the street loves us", and "Moor deffikult disisshuns are gonna be madt".

Everyone's free space is (insert random phrase about household economics that doesn't apply to running a business).

If you have "comming out better than ever" go ahead and mark that space now too

Island of misfit toys

Y’all have been unconscious on ventilators since Ursula “burns it down”. She infected Xerox with the ACS virus then turned the Company into a Zombie entity shedding that albatross . She was in our location in Lewisville, Tex the day Carl Icahn (zombie ki-ler) announced he was seeking control. Talk about losing at checkers vs winning at 3d chess. That you are still all living the Zombie dream is just sad. Sorry. I retired early in 2017 after 30 before the vrifs got infected. Got salary and medical continuation and a pumped lump sum due to rock bottom interest rate/ annuity RIGP calculus. Go find an AI product sector job or a AI data center job or ai supply chain gig or ai power generation and consumption scaling job now-and stop your Zombie chittering and infecting other good flesh. Xerox is just a zombie “last of us” island
Get out!

How to ask for package

My mental health has taken a nose dive by working at this company and weirdly I wasn’t included in the recent round of MIX layoffs and I actually was hoping that I would be. I’m talking to a psychiatrist about FMLA at some point for mental health and I’m wondering if anyone’s had experience with that and found that when they came back to work that they just ended up getting laid off anyway and or should I just try to gather my notes and ask for a package?

Boeing has been the greatest disappointment

Engineer here, first job out of school. I thought I was the luckiest when they offered me the position. Three years in and I have no idea what we're even doing. They've messed up from every angle you look at it, and the worst part is they're not even trying to make it better. It's like they can't decide between short-term savings at any cost or wanting to be a competitive company. And it feels like they've given up altogether.

Legit Question

Do we really think the company will lay off all merchant facing jobs and move to the Phillipines? How could we do that and still be an American company and publicly traded?

This is alarming to think we could lose our jobs just because cost is cheaper in a third world country. Is this what worldpay does? I heard they are closing most buildings down at the end of the year, except Cincinnati, Atlanta, Rochester, and Jacksonvill. Is that true? Thesis is scary times. 😢

Corporate Riffs Again?

Last year during March 19th they had layoffs of corporate employees, tech was hit the hardest. That was due to a series of decisions they made during a leadership offsite. Similar pattern this year (late Feb) they had a leadership offsite. From what I had exposure to they are finalizing headcount and growth, but also eliminating anything that isn't a priority for 2026/2027 (even if it's needed to manage Wayfair ops and technology). This all depends on how well your L6/L7 told your STO story.

Something is coming but I not sure about the scale or when. This could be a series of small restructures or a wider riff. I suspect March 16 to 30th we'll hear something. Please share anything you know to support your peers.

Why do people keep speculating Fiserv is going to do layoffs?

Mike Lyons has said repeatedly he cares more about the long-term goals of the company and not trying to do as his predecessor did with layoffs before every quarterly earnings calls. And that's also echoed with other C-Suite executives who have signaled before that the previous labor cuts have hurt the company's position in the market. Fiserv can't afford to trim more staff if they want to retain and attract new clients. So someone explain to me why people here keep saying layoffs are imminent because there are no signals of it from senior management.

Does Optum Insight have any customers

Other than United healthcare and Optum, does Optum Insight really have any customers? This is not a criticism of the worker bees in OptumInsight, but rather a true curiosity about whether that business is viable or if it's all smoke and mirrors. And if it's smoke and mirrors, when will they be "found out"? I worked fairly closely with that business and honestly, I never knew what they actually sold -- because they could never quite articulate it.

BYOD+ is getting reps and managers fired

So there is a lawsuit over BYOD+ which is probably going to be class action. Basically illegal bait and switching. So if you’re a rep doing this instead of upgrading their phone traditionally you are illegally bait and switching. 0 usage reports are being reviewed at 30/60/90 days. Already heard about terminations of both reps and their managers. So if you want to protect your job make sure you are presenting a quote for standard upgrade as well and explaining the price difference. There’s a reason they stripper it down to just the google pixel abruptly. So tread lightly with Samsung being back part of it
