The more they roll out AI and the metrics and the micro management, it’s clear State Farm think doesn’t give two sheets about employees. D1 injury has so many people out on leave or are quitting because bad management doesn’t know how to treat people... — read more
June 01, 2026 Meeting
We heard in Fire company there is an important meeting we need to attend? Anyone know what it is about?
Cowards
You spend over 100 million to get all the agents together AND then host a call on the following Monday to take away our benefits, AAIP and reduce commissions. You should have shared all of this at convention and had the guts to tell us in person. ... — read more
Agent Changes
A company that has long said “agents are the core of our business model “ just made significant changes to their contracts. We will see how that dichotomy plays out over the next few years.
Farney is full of Blarney
Many of us who have been around for a minute remember how universally Tipsord wasn’t liked. Dude had the bedside manner of Dr House. But many us held out hope that Farney would take us back to the old State Farm. The one Ed led. Farney is trying... — read more
Let me save you some heartache
Stop believing that working harder will keep you safe. The employee who shows up, does the minimum, and spends the rest of the day working the room has better job security than the top performer on the team. When layoffs come, they look at your... — read more
Who's next?
The rumors are already starting. Which department gets cut next round? And when? Anyone heard anything concrete?
Take It Seriously!
It has now been over a year since I left State Farm. I know people rant and rave on here about toxic environments, dysfunctional leaders, etc etc etc. But one thing I've discovered over the past 12 months is that the State Farm environment can... — read more
Agency Convention
Just watched the “Highlights” of the convention. Same old bs blah blah blah as every convention. Nothing will change in any significant way. I swear these are the same taking points I heard 30+ years ago
AA4/ AA97 Contract changes
It would be nice to hear what other SF agents are doing to prepare for new contract changes. Set the bi--hing aside since many of us feel like venting. What is your business approach to the drastic changes to compensation.

THEY TALK OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF THEIR MOUTH!
We need all you wfh employees. But, NO, there will be no promotion opportunities for any wfh to move up. To move up you must move to a Hub. Just shut up and pretend like we are going to let you keep your jobs.
Anyone heard or project farmer

Such a toxic place
The culture is so bad that people end up becoming worse versions of themselves the longer they stay here. It takes a special kind of talent to pull that off, but SF has always been an overachiever.

What will it be
Does State Farm have ANY regional offices anymore?
I retired in 2018. At that time they were closing a handful of the regional offices and transitioning to the hubs. I haven't kept up with the effort to close the regions. Does the farm still have any at all?
Cause of loss closure
What is this huge push all about? Why are they closing claims they know will reopen?
Mindless Executives Ruining The Farm

CHANGE THE RETIREMENT POLICY
To age plus years of service equals magic number for full retirement. Employees will retire without an exit severance pkg.
Bare minimum only
I tune in, do the least I can, stop exactly on time. Some days I do nothing. And those days are getting more frequent.

I am curios to see the responses. During my career at State Farm I had 6 managers. Honestly, out of 6 managers only 1 of them was a decent human being. The other 5 are horrible people.

State Farm! King of Quite Cutting!
The practice of “quiet cutting” is an old practice with a new name. It involves employers reassigning workers to new roles in hopes they will eventually quit so the company saves the cost of severance. SF is trash! Stay away from the sh-t hole!... — read more
