Has anyone heard about the secret projects prepare for an end to captive agency
Time to fight back
It’s time to unionize, boycott and fight back against the parasite class that are stealing our wages and replacing the workforce with AI. The middle class is all but dead. It’s the parasite greedy one percent class and the working poor. I for one am... — read more
Such a toxic place
The culture is so bad that people end up becoming worse versions of themselves the longer they stay here. It takes a special kind of talent to pull that off, but SF has always been an overachiever.
Convention
I wish all our customers could see the amount of money this company spends on the convention. I work on it and see the amount of money and entitlement. Over $100 million, luxurious suites, personal drivers for execs, alcohol flowing, private... — read more
Announcement by end of week
What will it be
Does State Farm have ANY regional offices anymore?
I retired in 2018. At that time they were closing a handful of the regional offices and transitioning to the hubs. I haven't kept up with the effort to close the regions. Does the farm still have any at all?
Cause of loss closure
What is this huge push all about? Why are they closing claims they know will reopen?
Mindless Executives Ruining The Farm
I started in 2010 under the Rust years. The golden years of State Farm. Ed treated every employee like family. I worked in the old Mid America Zone and boy were we treated right. I had coworkers in the Murfreesboro and Newark offices who loved... — read more
Be careful
Got my cobra estimate retiring early it’s like $1200 a month. Better check your fiqures before you pull the trigger on retiring early. It’s an eye opener!! Bumping this so folks don't miss it. Too many are so focused on leaving as soon as possible... — read more

CHANGE THE RETIREMENT POLICY
To age plus years of service equals magic number for full retirement. Employees will retire without an exit severance pkg.
Bare minimum only
I tune in, do the least I can, stop exactly on time. Some days I do nothing. And those days are getting more frequent.

I am curios to see the responses. During my career at State Farm I had 6 managers. Honestly, out of 6 managers only 1 of them was a decent human being. The other 5 are horrible people.
Defeated, disappointed and everything in between
I live in a state that no longer has a hub, I cannot move, so I am unable to get a claims job, since claims is hybrid my job was approved for the exit program, almost 20 years with this company Im losing my job.. its a very odd feeling to be in this... — read more
State Farm! King of Quite Cutting!
The practice of “quiet cutting” is an old practice with a new name. It involves employers reassigning workers to new roles in hopes they will eventually quit so the company saves the cost of severance. SF is trash! Stay away from the sh-t hole!... — read more
They already know who they want to keep
They just have to appear to be fair when going through this layoff process, because that's what it is-layoffs. They're making sure that all professional positions will have a job to move into. All service, no matter how technical or how good you... — read more
Can't make this stuff up! I hate Fire Company!
So last July I was in SIU and got forced, with a two day notice, to move to Fire Claims. It took me 15 years to get to SIU, enjoyed my job and got good level 3 & 4 ratings. I do not have any fire claims experience. I absolutely loathe Fire claims... — read more
Will they keep making RTO conditions harder and harder to meet?
Leadership is clearly on an attrition drive, and making people quit on their own has been a main goal of RTO from the very beginning.
AI Workforce Disruption (Future) - The U.S. economic-financial system, the Truth.
Fact's - The Fed under Chairman Jerome Powell since January 2026 has printed an additional $125.0 Billion in currency to prop-up the U.S. economic-financial system. Fed money printing over time since 2009 does add to the (current) U.S. National... — read more
They can just pull the right levers and force people to leave
This won't be layoff in the traditional sense, it will be realign/restructure/RTO for company needs orne forced out maybe some early retirement for people. But SF doesn't need layoffs when they can just pull the right levers and force people to... — read more

The U.S. Economy heading towards 2027.
There are a lot of pre-cursors (building over time) to the "Roaring 1920's ending" October 1929, the "Internet bubble burst" March 2000; and the "Global Financial Crisis" September 2008. Fed stimulus will (most likely) end by mid-April (with Higher... — read more
Layoffs shouldn't be feared
What's the worst think that can happen? You get to leave the company that's been treating you like cr-p, underpaying you, stunting your career progress, and not only that, you get paid to walk away. I don't see the downside.
Take Care of Yourself!
I had the opportunity to leave last year and I took it. Not part of a downsizing, no severance. Just a realization that SF was not a mentally heathy company to work for and I began looking for other jobs. So many secrets, so much job insecurity... — read more
