It wasnt stealing, the board of directors, which hired him to do what they wanted, rewarded tipsord for doing what they wanted (getting rid of a massive amount of legacy SF talent at breakneck speed)

Our transformative growth, where we grow from dominant in the market place to "just like the rest of them" and start to sacrifice our #1 position, was a success so they gave him a lot of money.

The question should be, who benefited besides the CEO and how? That would be interesting to explore. We are for sure a worse company now than before.

He stole $121 millón dollars in compensation in 9 years and likely ensured that State Farm will never recover from his disastrous time as CEO. Even d-mb thieves do not go back to the scene of the crime!
