Should I stay or should I go?
CL28 with CL29 potential, been at company for 20 years. Is it worth leaving or should I ride it out?
As a woman…
The post pandemic work life at the firm has made me seriously consider leaving the workforce completely. “Support” being a new buzzword with zero meaning is the base of the new culture.
So many people keep talking about how other companies are worse, so I kind of don’t want to take my chances.
You know it's time to move on when
Young adults same age as your kids, with only months to a year of real job experience are hired to do the same job you are, but making more money. It's an insult and a slap in the face!
Nielsen has no future
Run while you still have options.
Nothing is and will change in FIG for a loooong time!
Gelb is not the answer. Foskett should be long retired and has no biz talking to mainstreet FIs we serve... he is a Wall Street dinosaur. The RM/Sales leader - useless and clients and his team know it. Product - zero strategy. Our competition is catching up and winning because they are NOT Fiserv or FIS. Same recycled useless people that we keep moving around. Remind me what has changed???? if you have a chance to get another job - LEAVE!
I'm so, so done with this place
Every morning I have to talk myself into staying one more day.
Everything about this place screams “last stop before the cliff"
I think being laid off at this point wouldn't be such a bad thing, considering the current state of SF.
Layoffs just keep coming
Is it just me, or is everyone exhausted from these constant cuts? I’m this close to walking out no matter what happens next.
Why are you still here?
Knowing what's coming, seeing the state of Intel, why are you still here? Do you think you're safe? Personally, I'm here because I haven't been able to land anything good so far, but I've been trying to leave for nearly a year. As soon as I do, I'll be gone and never think about this place again.
Might be time to leave
I’ve seen friends and colleagues develop serious health problems because of the pressure here. Stress seems to be the norm and the leadership couldn't care less about balance or wellbeing. Watching people struggle like that makes it hard to stay motivated and makes me think twice about sticking around.
If there are layoffs, I hope they let us volunteer
I’m really hoping they give us a chance to leave voluntarily because I would take it immediately. Things have been so tense and uncertain, it feels like the best move to step away before the stress really hits hard. Having a way out would be a huge relief and give me a chance to reset and find something better.
Almost ready to leave
Am I being reckless leaving a relatively stable job for a senior title at a startup that pays 30 percent less cash but dangles stock options like they’re golden tickets?
Pay us to leave!
Please State Farm, pay us to leave! I've been here 30 years and do not even need a years pay or the enhanced severance plan which has a maximum of 78 weeks pay! I would take 6 months worth of pay which is basically what UPS is doing for its 20,000 people. Find the reta-ds that still want to work here and let the rest of us go. Go out and finish hiring that 2040 workforce but please please please stop the torture. I hate this company and any and everything it stands for. Please understand that your workforce is not going to do anything to help you when you torture and bully them. It is just better to start over a new! Executive you have absolutely no credibility left so stop trying with the huddle points, special announcements, 3-year plans to torture, or any other drama and attempt to f-ck with the workforce. Do what you are going to do and get it over with. F-ck off seriously!
I trust the lot that’s coming in even less than the previous leadership
I’ve been with Walgreens for a long time and through the worst times. I somehow survived all the cuts, reorganizations, and upheavals. But right now, I’m on higher alert than ever and have started preparing for a possible exit. I’m not in the most desirable age bracket for employers (soon to be 50), and I still have debt I need to service. I can’t afford to be caught off guard, not with the job market and the direction the economy is headed. I’m not trying to make anyone panic. Just saying we should all be more prepared than usual for whatever comes next.
Is job security gone for good?
I could deal with layoffs if I knew they were truly necessary right now, not just a crutch every time earnings, expectations, or anything else take a hit. What are the chances that is actually the case, or should I just start looking for something else now?
So many people are looking to leave
The leadership should be worried, because everybody with any options seems to be preparing to leave. I think people have had enough of this place, its toxicity, and blatant disrespect for employees. You can only push people so far before something snaps.
Who is even proud to work here? The morale here is garbage
I have never met more people in my life who are ashamed to work at a company.
Everyone I know is looking for another job
LR'd and looking?
Go to WWW.Jobs.now or www.jobvertise.com.
I wish you all the best of luck.
Former Cisconian LR'd from a different place this time around and looking.
Tired of Fighting For What’s Right
I no longer want to give my energy or care to my work. I am currently looking for a new role because this company does not seem to get any better by the day.
Time to update resume!
If you are still employed at FIS, do yourself a favor and update your resume. It’s a tough job market out there and you need a head start or at least 3-4 months. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable and do better for yourself!
