Anyone out there have insider information about what’s going on with the planned layoff of 80~ fraud specialists and leaders in Portland, OR? They told us we would be “laid off in the next two years” in Jan of 2024, then just never did it? Total radio silence until finally in October they said it was “being pushed back”. Will they ever let us go? If you’re an executive leader reading this, and you thought we were going to quit before our severance packages were doled out, you’re an id--t.

Will not be able to be done by company that purchased the program very complex program. They sold everything to the walls. Air Force will not happy but Harris don’t care.
Clifton facilities will be next we were told by Clifton rep. B52 program may be sold and outsourced. Harris does not want to deal with legacy older programs .or repair older programs. There corporate focus has changed. All commercial programs will be sold off.
We all know our approximate 2.0 percent raises show us how they they feel about there
Talent. It did not cover the medical and benefit increase. You lost money.
A union may be a solution
Laid off today
Anyone know the extent of today's layoffs?
Jan 7th layoff update
Here is what I’ve heard more than once. If anyone knows differently please call it out / correct me-
Layoffs:
Jan 6th - End User Support
Jan 6th- Resource Planning
Upcoming
Jan 13th- Consumer / Retail
Jan 20th - Product (now under Jeff Simon/ IT)
Both upcoming are targeting a 20% reduct
KTD - New job postings have stopped seems layoff is near
I see that new job postings in KTD have stopped and there might be a hiring freeze in place which is a strong signal for layoffs in KTD!
Are you safer from future layoff by staying at lower pay grade?
We've heard the phrase "up and out promotion" before. I've seen it happen especially for limited availability positions....IE new manager comes in and they have a buddy they'd love to give a promotion to, but even managers have headcount targets and can't necessarily create new Senior Engineer positions..so they find a way to force out someone currently in that position so they can give it to their friend.
For departments with many GSR engineers, in-line promotion can bring you from a 6->7->8 eventually with no tangible difference in responsibilities.
My question is during layoffs.. do you think you'd be safer as a higher paid lower GSR.. or at a higher GSR and lower on the pay scale? I know there's dept headcount reduction targets during cuts, and they can be based on X number per GSR.
Managers that dodged the layoff are toxic
Are you all seeing the managers that survived the riff are acting insane. These guys who managed to survive are going to act like mad men now to try and justify themself s. Be prepared to be written up for nonsense and made an example of in your groups. This is after every layoff the insecure managers act stupid🍆🍈🍉🍊
Were you recently cut due to the RTO initiative without severance or bonus?
Has anyone had luck with attorneys to reclaim severance or bonus?

Mo--ns Ended Our Healthcare Coverage 12/31/25
According to a letter I got today from Vz, my health coverage official end date was 12/31/25. Directed me to enroll in COBRA or sign up for marketplace insurance (Obamacare). Obviously this was a major sc--w up by corp but it will wreck any claims for care received after 1/1/26.
These clowns can’t even execute a RIF correctly.
Is this how it works with notice/term/severance?
essentially the company gives you 2 weeks notice that you’re being laid off. They tell you about it on the notification date, and you have to leave that day, but your last day of employment is 2 weeks later. Your severance doesn’t begin until after the term date, so effectively your severance is 2 weeks longer than what they tell you it is

Tuition reimbursement payback
If you get laid off before the 2 years is up, do you have to pay back tuition reimbursement received until that point?
UHC downsize notice?

Anyone have info for the uhc side? Optum listed the dates
Still waiting for severance?
Anyone else still not receive their severance offer? Was let go in early December and have still heard nothing. Really frustrating as I can’t stay unemployment until I know what I’m getting.
Here we go again layoffs
I mean why do we need to deal with this again .Hearing now they want to riff about 10-15,000 more in April after the merger.Like sitting on the edge of seat.At this point thinking everyone starts looking for a job to jump ship if possibly comes up.Cause this is no way to live .I mean we’re all like we survived it’s over .Now new year it’s not over yet round 2 then what round 3
Q1 Layoffs
Yes there will be another round end of Q1. First round was timed perfectly before the end of the year. That being said, to balance the sheets, more cuts had to occur at the beginning of the year for faster turnaround times for revenue increasing strategies in place.
It is happening and will continue to trend the same patterns as the Q4 layoffs.
Lots of questions as to if it will be geo based like the first rounds were or if it will be more results based strategies for the target. The answer is both are being considered.
Agent companies have already been scouted for these locations. Some divestures will be March and then the rest in April.
One thing I did hear is if your location has black tile sales floors, that is is ideal for agent companies to transition (don’t ask why, I didn’t hear but it’s strategic placement)

Layoff date
I know it’s continuous but there are 2-3 times a year where there’s a bulk cull. Any rumors or info on the Jan/Feb date?
Major RIF Alert
HR over multiple sites on call today and apparently there is a memo doing the rounds to management too. I am hearing something big coming in 2026
It's been a year since my layoff
I was laid off from TMUS a year ago. I was there a long time, since before Sprint. The company changed, it no longer supports the needs of the many, only the few.
If you are on this board and still employed by T-Mobile, you are stressed about losing your job. It's as simple as that. You are worried that you are next.
My new role pays similar as my old role, but with 10% of the stress. And honestly, most of my stress at TMUS stemmed from feeling that a layoff would come for me eventually. And it did.
My advice is to get out. Let them destroy the company without you. Start working on your resume, put it out there, do a few interviews. Just get out. Make that your new years resolution.
team meeting sounded ominous
Boss repeatedly thanking team for their efforts and that this will be tough year. Almost like good bye thank yous. I think boss knows their name is on the rif list.
Oh also when I went to put pto in system my title was changed to a lower title then what I have (or thought I had lol )
Good times. Don’t stress out nothing you can control. So just keep your head down and punch the clock until they tell you to stop (while also applying externally).
Looking forward to the first layoff of 2026
Praying I'm among those affected. Yes, I know the job market su-ks, but I've been here long enough to get a decent severance that'll have me covered for a while. And if I can't find a new job within a year no matter the job market, then I guess I deserve to be jobless and broke.
Raleigh, NC AUTO prenotice 1/5/2026
Pre-notice arrived today for Raleigh NC Auto. Should receive full notice before end of Feb. 2026 More info to come.
H&C layoffs?
UHC is dropping about 1 million MA members in 2026... any news as to how many care coordinators will be laid off?
Completed ALL the training

Heard a bit of new info on a associate Eisp on union side
So again hoping all the managers that were riffed did okay with some severance it’s not a cure all but helps get em thru!!!On the associates union side assuming they want us gone .It does not sound like it will be an across board Eisp offer for everyone and anyone .It sounds like there will be one but it will be targeted.Unfortunately it would seem like since most of the associates are retirement eligible they won’t let everyone go at once.So if you need that little extra buyout cash to leave sounds like your gonna have to stick it out till your age or finance allows.Im assuming it sounds like they will probably agree on some sort of 3-4 year extension. So we have to assume they may actually not be prepared quite yet for the entire field work force to leave .Sad the company over last 20 years did not plan ahead .It makes no sense that our entire work force at this point especially in the physical field operations looks like a retirement home.If your 50 years old your considered a young boy in this place
RIF’s/Layoffs starting today
“HAPPY” New Year… or not, we will see. With the holidays wrapping up, it seems inevitable that all of the layoffs and reductions will start ramping up now seeing that all of the decision makers are back at work after the holiday.
Any ideas what depts will be impacted first? All we know if from the info shared on the all employee call is that Freier’s group (consumer) is “up first…”
I wish the best outcome for everyone during this poor-feeling time of uncertainty.
What’s taking so long for the next layoff to happen?
Started working here during the pandemic. I remember the huge layoff back in 2024. Not really familiar with how Fidelity does layoffs.
That being said, there’s (a lot of) talk about certain positions getting laid off. There’s been a few layoffs, but not to the extent of 2024. With all the talk going on, why hasn’t there been a cataclysmic layoff yet, like this website seems to predict?
Take what I say with a grain of salt, but I just expected Abby to execute a bloodbath again this year. Everyone seems to have a hunch that another big one is coming, which has a bunch of people on edge. How are people gonna perform well when they’re on edge? Why doesn’t Abby just do the layoff already to let people know where things lie, and then have the safe ones be able to work?
I’m not sure how many people quit this past year because of the increase in remote work, or their position getting moved to another office. Still, what needs to fall into place before yet another huge layoff occurs?
I know this is a sensitive topic, so whoever reads this, please just take care of yourself.
Anyone else realize that, after their layoff
They fu--ing hated their job? I've been reckoning with it like every day since. This was my first position out of college, and I just feel more and more apathetic about everything this company did.

Anyone finding a job?
Has anyone found a job yet after being laid off (doing similar type of work)?
Any possibility truth to an across board union buyout package eisp
Serious question .I know people lost there Jobs it’s stinks .I Hope the non management ended up with some kinda severance that was pretty good.I m hoping on the union side we will be offered this across the board to everyone no strings Eisp in first quarter.I assume Dan wants to rid himself of some of us too .So unfortunately bad financial management on my part would say I kinda need a package to leave or I have to wait it out another 2 years age .Just hoping they let everyone who wants to leave Go with a bit of A boost .I mean at least let the old move on .Just worried that they don’t have anyone other then old so they won’t let it happen. Wonder what the median age of the operations side actually is???
Layoffs in January
Will layoffs continue this month?
Just got laid off today
I was an account executive in Dells 3rd party software group. Been with Dell over 22 years not sure what comes next at my age
Rehiring older employees
The company seems willing to bring back older employees, but only at a pay cut. A former coworker applied and was basically offered his old role from about a year ago (he was laid off), just with much lower pay. Unfortunately, he’s thinking about taking it since his current job is even worse and pays less. It’s hard not to feel humiliated by how this all plays out, and it makes me hate this place even more.
Severence
Has anyone received there severance lump yet
Relo information
Yes, we have been told anyone and everyone not currently working at an approved KNL will get their letter next week. Under 50 miles you will be expected to report to your new location the 1st week of March. Greater than 50 miles you have 60 days to say yes or no. If you say yes, you have till March 2027 to report. If you say no, you go to the surplus list and expect to be layed off by June 2026.
OP: @ax+1kdxp30g9
Putting this up for visibility.
Can you be laid off while on vacation?
Sorry if it's a stupid question, this is my first proper job and I'm not sure how things work yet.
F….
I just got laid off now. It’s fcking start of the year.
Anyone else ready to volunteer as tribute?
I never thought I’d feel this way, but when the next round comes, I’ll be happy to step forward if given an opportunity. That’s how worn down Cisco has made me.
