Are layoffs happening as frequent with the UHH/C folks or is it primarily only Optum? Their layoff boards don’t have nearly as much noise as this one.

Will layoffs definitely happen 2/26? Is this the last round for the “2,000 employees”? Does anyone have any insight on which areas?

I hate waiting around knowing if I’m next. No one communicates anything and it’s just a horrible feeling. How are we supposed to get work done knowing we could be next?

Confirmed layoffs for San Antonio KYC, entire Small business KYC under Sharon is gone Wednesday march 4th it's about 40+ people. If your under her use your unplanned now. I'm positive there is other departments also being affected in San Antonio HQ but not sure where else.

Leaders are clueless. Everything is a priority as everyone needs to save themselves. No support from your supervisor. Only burnout remains with us. Layoff or rebadging dates are mystery.

Can someone describe what the process is for deciding which round you are a part of for the layoffs? I know I was marked because of what I was linked to workwise and sus behavior this year, but what determines what wave you are a part of? Why do we never let people know who have left or has been laid off. Everything is one big secret. Maybe its different in other divisions but here in our schools division, communication is a joke. Getting word that layoffs will be ramping up before corporate bonuses are set to be announced and paid out. If you are let go before the bonus actually hits your direct deposit, then you will get absolutely nothing for enduring last year. Heads up and brace yourself for once again another large round of layoffs. Meanwhile, all the VPs and above are getting extra perks their way (trips, special luxury gifts, stock).
Additionally, if you are fortunate enough to stay, your annual compensation review will probably be on existing since they’ve forced all management to not give high employee reviews to prevent low incentive increase and lowest bonus payouts.

Take this with a grain of salt but I heard from two unrelated sources that there will be a 1K cut at the end of March with the focus on mgmt (Dirs, SVPs...) We'll know soon enough but that layer is fairly fat and this is exactly where they would get the biggest bang for the buck (and the impact will be minimal).

Finance ops has an external job posting for a credit and collections analyst. Really? Just months after layoffs? The job description says to resolve billing and payment disputes. Can this not be done by AI or competent management? Does the executive leadership not have any prior operations experience that got this approved? Vz needs efficiency and value. Not more inefficient army building with overlap and chaos which directly caused the need for layoffs in the first place. Does Dan know people are posting external manual processing roles just months after layoffs???

Still waiting on severance documentation.

We're 90% through, and the last 10% could happen anytime between now and forever, just to keep us on edge? Sigh.

Perhaps it’s because l’m young and still early in my career, but watching a mentor I admired get canned yesterday was one of the most heartbreaking things I ever experienced. We’re not talking about the average Joe, but an advocate who went up and beyond for everyone, and was so crucial to the systems and applications that we supported.

I can’t say it comes as a surprise. People have always warned me, but yesterday cemented that we really are just a number at the end of the day. Performance doesn’t matter.

I don’t know how my team’s gonna move forward after losing someone critical. This is not the same company I was excited about joining a few years ago.

Big layoff coming to the USA with high PIP targets and low PIP passing rates. OPERATIONS ROLES WILL BE HIT HARD but no groups will be spared. Time to look for next role and have a plan B

I got the layoff call last month, last day is in May. Others on my team who are buddy-buddy with leadership got promotions at the same time. Needless to say I’m done giving this company anything more. I’m withdrawing all internal transition applications and barely going to reply to emails. For the next 2.5 months, I will swipe my card and turn around go home to apply external roles. I can’t believe how many extra hours and long nights I spent working for this company. Congrats to all promoted and good bye to all!

It's a ghost town on 19. They laid off the entire Marcomms team yesterday from the CMO, executive directors, social, literally everyone in GHQ and Serbia!!! This was huge because it wasn't just a few people but more like 70 or so. This seemed really personal or just fed up with a few people and decided to make the rest suffer as a message.
