Who is next person at Intel to be sued for stealing its secrets ?
Is LBT going to defend this person at all cost ?
Why HK?
I don't understand HK as COO. If not due to actual incompetence and misconduct, why invite the optics?
1) Corporate Pillar: be a top quartile performer.
Via LinkedIn, Heather was Baxter President of Global Business Units and Americas (2019-2023), EVP/Group President of Medical Products and Therapies (2023 - Feb 2025), then COO Feb - Oct 2025.
Baxter stock went from $85 to $20 since 2020.
Whether accurate or not, in big roles you are judged on results, not what you do/say. It doesn't matter how intricately you lay out your strategy, vision or "playbook." If you don't grow the company, you fail. Why bring in a failure to lead Solventum?
2) Win with Excellence. Paraphrase of Bryan: "We want to win, but ethically. If you or a family member wouldn't use our product due to safety concerns, we'll do the right thing and pull it."
Just a year ago, Heather was celebrating the Novum IQ launch:
https://www.linkedin.com/posts/heather-knight-2620084_novumiq-patientswin-activity-7186818979544346625-TafM/
Heather was boasting Novum sales growth in May 2025, even though recalls were happening a month later. They left the pumps on the market and chose to publish workarounds for hospitals instead.
https://www.medtechdive.com/news/baxter-recalls-novum-pump-one-injury/750127/
Now the pumps are pulled and we have a class action lawsuit citing Heather and Jose (Bryan's brother-in-law), listing 2 deaths and 79 injuries from the Novum platform:
https://rosenlegal.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Baxter-International-Complaint-Upload.pdf
This rundown by a legal firm also suggests issues may have been known via their Canadian launch, which preceded the US launch.
https://zlk.com/learn/baxter-international-inc-bax-securities-class-action-lawsuit
The latest date in the lawsuit text is "September 2025" and web search results covering it start popping up in Oct 2025, so it seems coincidental to hire her in October.
So, of all the possible COO choices... why Heather? I don't get it. Even if we blame all of Baxter's stock issues on the CEO instead of HK, and say she had nothing to do with the pumps... as a new company looking to establish confidence in our next-in-command, I wouldn't touch her with a 10 foot pole. What am I missing?
As it should be
A class-action lawsuit was filed against Thomas Jefferson University this week after the company announced it was laying off 1% of its workforce back in October.
The Philadelphia-based health care system had announced that the layoffs were because of "financial headwinds" and would impact 600 workers.

SAP sued by SCM AI firm 09

SAP SE was sued by supply-chain artificial intelligence firm o9 Solutions Inc., which claimed three of its former executives stole trade secrets for the European software giant.
In a complaint filed Tuesday in Dallas federal court, o9 claimed the stolen trade secrets concerned the design, implementation and testing of its supply-chain management software. The company, whose backers include KKR & Co. and General Atlantic, was valued in 2023 at $3.7 billion.
According to o9’s suit, longtime market leader SAP was losing customers to competitors in the business-planning software space due to its outdated platform. As a result, SAP allegedly launched an “aggressive campaign” to target o9’s trade secrets. Since the documents were reportedly stolen, o9 claims SAP has altered its software to closely mirror the startup’s offerings.
A representative for SAP declined to comment on the lawsuit.

It appears many people are calling attention to Broadcom’s history and its catastrophic business model, which they say relies on monopolistic tactics and has led to multiple lawsuits. Critics also highlight the destruction of American job. Thousands lost in less than five years.

SOLV employees should sue Bryan Hanson
Poor performance, multiple waves of layoffs, running the company to the ground. Bryan Hanson should be sued by Solventum employees, not paid $40 million. Please consult a good employment attorney to explore this option.
Why hasn’t been a lawsuit for exempt
Examples of alleged wage and hour abuses
Unpaid overtime:
Misclassification: Employees, including drivers and managers, were allegedly misclassified as "exempt" from overtime pay, even though they performed non-supervisory duties.
Waters is a publicly listed sweatshop at this point
Benefits in 2026 are virtually nonexistent, and I can't believe there hasn't been a lawsuit. Wages are equally terrible. It’s a shame. Employees face exploitation at every level, while management is taking advantage of workers whenever they can.

This is very interesting read.
I can see Bridget Engle getting fired and Charlie tossed as well for tracking hours of exempt employees and treating them like hourly. I can't wait to see those reports:) Doubt she finds work again not having a college degree, passing herself off as a techie. Carrie and Stumpf had "eight is great", Bridget and Charlie have "8 hours office tracking."
# Concerns Raised Over Ethical Practices at Publicis Medical Research Firm Verilogue
A recent report has highlighted troubling ethical concerns regarding Verilogue, a medical research firm owned by Publicis Groupe, focused on pharmaceutical marketing research. The report describes how Verilogue incentivized doctors to record real patient conversations, which were then used to optimize marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products, including opi--ds such as OxyContin.
Lawsuits associated with this practice allege that recorded conversations were used to overcome patient concerns and maximize dr-g sales, contributing to the opi--d epidemic and resulting public health crises. While Publicis and Verilogue maintain these recordings were obtained with patient consent and in regulatory compliance, the use of intimate physician-patient dialogue for commercial marketing exploitation raises significant privacy and ethical questions.
This is especially notable given Publicis' previous opi--d-related legal settlements, including a $350 million settlement linked to its broader role in opi--d marketing. The ongoing use of such research methods could further impact Publicis’ reputation and raises calls for ethical reform in medical marketing.
The situation underscores the tension between legal compliance and ethical responsibility in pharmaceutical advertising practices. Users posting here should note the serious implications for patient privacy and public health tied to these practices.

Class Action Lawsuits
Can anyone please suggest any lawyers already working on a class action lawsuit?
I remember seeing some names of law firms mentioned on here in the past but cannot find them amongst all the posts.
Thanks!
Age Discrimination
I was surplused and last day on payroll is 11/6. In the packet, they provide an age discrimination sheet that shows the age of everyone in my organization with the same title. I am, in fact, the oldest.
I am over 50 & located in Dallas. I am a single parent so I need the severance money but I am curious if anyone else filed a lawsuit instead. Was it worth it?

Please improve my writing below: For those who have been terminated, have you sued Veeva? Have you won? Please share.
2025-10-29:
I’ve observed that the working environment at Veeva can be very challenging. It appears that many young engineers join with enthusiasm but later struggle with the culture and management practices, which can negatively impact their motivation and work experience.
I’d like to connect with anyone who has previously been terminated or experienced similar issues at Veeva. If you’ve taken legal action or filed a complaint, could you please share your experience or outcome?
I am currently exploring the possibility of organizing a class-action lawsuit and would appreciate hearing from others who may be interested in joining or sharing relevant information.
will there be
class action lawsuits due to the nature of previous financial reporting?
Accenture Is Lying About the Real Reason for Its Layoffs
Accenture keeps saying they’re firing employees who “can’t learn AI.” That’s complete bullsh-t. The truth is, they’re laying off people in the U.S. and rehiring or contracting cheaper labor in Costa Rica and Colombia.
They’re using the “AI skills” excuse to distract everyone from what’s really going on — cost-cutting and outsourcing. Now a lot of former employees are suing them for unfair and deceptive practices.
Accenture wants to look like an AI-driven company, but what they’re really doing is replacing loyal workers with cheaper ones abroad.
Why nobody will sue.
Even if you are right or lowballed on severance. Nobody is going to sue despite tough talk.
A lawsuit with Imperial will be filled with legal costs as they drag things out every step od the way. They will ignore your lawyer, file things late, challenge procedural issues that don’t matter every step of the way.
With the working notice they have provided and mobility survey, they have done everything to appear reasonable, even if they aren’t.
Likely everyone could be entitled to slightly higher severance than what is offered, but they won’t budge. They are offering just enough that lawyers will tell people its not worth the fight.
You will spend $100,000+ fighting this only for them to marginally increase the offer as a settlement offer. Recouped legal fees if you wi. will be 60% of this at maximum.
The process is the punishment. In the meantime you will have the reputation as a troublemaker in the industry and burn through all your savings to pay the bills.
Your only hope is a class action but you will be lucky if you can find a lawyer willing or able to take it on given the varying circumstances, then the court needs to approve.
If several people sue they will make a motion in court to do case management, where they will fight for the lowest performing, shortest length of service employee to be the lead case.
They have everyone by the short and curlies, and you will all take it.

SABR ALERT – Levi & Korsinsky Has Commenced an Investigation on Behalf of Sabre Corporation Shareholders Who Lost Money
NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESS Newswire / October 16, 2025 / NEW YORK, NY / ACCESS Newswire / October 16, 2025 / Levi & Korsinsky notifies investors that it has commenced an investigation of Sabre Corporation ("Sabre Corporation") (NASDAQ:SABR) concerning possible violations of federal securities laws.
On August 7, 2025, Sabre announced disappointing second quarter results, missing revenue and earnings projections, and cutting its guidance for the remainder of 2025. Sabre’s revenue declined 1% compared to last quarter where the company projected single digit revenue growth. Management pointed to "the weakness of corporate bookings relative to leisure and the pullback of government and military travel … [which] caused GDS volumes to underperform passenger growth."
Following this news, Sabre’s stock price fell by $1.07 per share to close at $1.93 per share.

Has anyone ever successfully sued and won after being Irif'd? Out the 81 people released last week, only 9 were under 40.
Lawsuit is Looming!!!!
One of the key characteristics of exempt employees is flexible hours. Employees of this bank work more or fewer than 40 hours in a week, but they get their work done. Do we have a few bad apples? Every place does. Bring it DF, we right here!!!
Anyone interested?
Hello, I am a current hcsc employee and I have been on FMLA the past 2 years. Here lately I have been hearing and seeing some concerning things surrounding my fellow coworkers with FMLA as well. I have purposed lawsuits at this time. Most of them have exhausted all other avenues. The concerning things are such as, having an RN come in and speak to a coworker on her fmla and tell her to grow up, another losing their wfh exception for care of her dying spouse, another having their claims pulled to see her daughters claims and medical information , not allowing FMLA people the same things non FMLA people get, like I have been "talked to" about my unscheduled FMLA is being counted against me for my unscheduled time of because I was sick, and they encouraged me to falsify my FMLA reporting. I have watched managers call FMLA and try to discuss details of coworkers FMLA and hr has done nothing to these managers after reporting it. At this point fighting for months going through all the proper channels has gotten none of us anywhere. I have proposed to gather everyone who has FMLA and has been through similar things to speak up and trying to get enough people and evidence to get a class action going. I dont care about the money, I care that they are going after FMLA people, disregarding federal law and making up their own rules and they aren't listening. The only way to make them listen is to hit them where it hurts and that is in their pocket. So if anyone else is going through similar things let me know. See about maybe connecting somehow outside of this and go from there. I have a few people so far but the more the merrier and im sick of watching good people getting burned by a company who thinks they are above the law.
