Its nice to see this site is slowing down, no one cares about Enbridge anymore.

I remember the bad days with ALL THE LAYoffs 2014 onwards when this site was very active. I guess with all the senior employees leaving for a better life/job, or with the thousands of layoffs. Those that remain are new employees, the WORST left over employees, or ones waiting for retirement. Well from what I hear from my friends, contractors, management nothing has changed,  I am so sad to see such a great company de-evolve into what it is today. I am so happy that I got the option to leave years ago to a new better life. For those that remain, I wish a better life at Enbridge, but unfortunately I do not see this ever returning to Enbridge.

LAYOFF.COM: As of 2014 Verizon employs 180,000 people.

This is literally the description on the Layoff.com portal

Let’s that sink in!!!!!!!

We are now 85k barely. We have lost close to 100k employees.

This is a effing TITANIC I say. Jump while you can. Indian future CEO is already interviewing. Trust me!!!!

No, thelayoff.com, I’m not going to disable my adblock

You keep playing with this sh-t, and I will start using AdNauseam. Others too. We will see who wins when this whole stupid obnoxious ads economy collapses.

You have to understand. I’d love to support you. But these ads are not just supporting you - they are destroying my privacy. Do you not understand how absurd and lopsided this idea of tracking pixels is on a website built for anonymous users?

How can we share this website with coworkers???

I think it would be helpful if more of us participated here so we could all benefit from more information.

I see that new threads get 300+ views within a couple of hours, which is great, but I do not feel we have reached critical mass yet.

I would share this internally, but I am worried I might get in trouble if someone were to report me.

I have mentioned it verbally to my team, but that is only about 10 people.

I could post about it on Facebook using a random name, but I doubt that would actually reach anyone useful.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to spread the word safely and effectively?

Be cautious.

Be cautious of what you take from this forum -- there is a bias. People paranoid, with a negative mindset, or disgruntled are more likely to be on here -- that should be obvious.
Additionally anyone can post on here -- and if a Chinese group went through the trouble hack into the company, then this is low hanging fruit for any country that wants to cause chaos in the US economy. Just pop on an anonymous forum, and spew off rumors about upcoming layoffs -- incredibly easy way to manipulate the stock market.

Posts being downvoted when they are stating facts...

Yes, there were many Senior Directors Cut today. That's a fact. Our org has been impacted by the news today. Called some of my coworkers in different states. Same story.

Why are you downvoting the facts? Because it doesn't line up with your bullsh-t timeline?
Ya'll don't know jack sh-t and keep posting the same cr-p over and over again.

Dan go you running around scared shitless.

Preferred Employee Survey Actions

Serious question - what are the top actionable items folks on this forum would like to see from AT&T Leadership? We know they read this stuff so maybe use this as another opportunity to communicate to them in a constructive way and originated by employees.

Suggestions:

  1. Maybe leave off the obvious hot divisive ones that has gotten so much air play here and have such conflicting views (RTO vs WFH, DEI, etc) so the discussion doesn’t devolve to name calling.

  2. Would be interesting if replies could be tagged as Union vs Mgmt since they may differ materially.

  3. Be serious and try to refrain from mudslinging (I.e., - don’t reply if you’re not game).

Fighting Back Against Citi Corrupt Practices

I've been following the discussions here closely and noticed some concerning comments about moderators, allegedly connected to Citi removing truthful posts from this site. If these claims are true, it's a serious attempt to suppress the truth.
My advice is to protect yourself and the information you're sharing. Take screenshots of your posts before they potentially disappear. Save everything as evidence.
If you're comfortable, consider taking further action. Anonymously send these screenshots to a major news reporter or investigative journalist. Exposing this kind of alleged corruption publicly could hold Citi accountable for their actions and reveal the truth about what's really happening.

Is this forum just about sales layoffs or...

Could be wrong but, I come here often and read the majority of the posts/comments and it seems like the vast majority of people are in 1 of 3 areas. ISG, CSG or some type of Sales position. Being in IT, I'm not fluent in acronyms outside of my realm so,

I'm assuming ISG = Inside sales group, CSG= Channel Sales group, and then... general sales people like AE's, AMs, TSE, etc...

Where are the IT people at in here? (minus tech support. You don't count as IT, sorry.)

Too much hate here.

Life is too short to carry the blackness. If you are feeling this way all the time about work, I would suggest you take a good long look at yourself and decide what you want to do.

Sometimes the harder thing is to walk away and start over somewhere else, but it would be the best thing for your soul.

Don't feed the Trolls

There's a lot of baiting posts these last two days. Don't let these bad actors dilute the real conversation and situational reporting happening. Down vote them into oblivion. Don't respond to them on their posts or let them derail other, functional threads. It's pathetic that they strive for attention here, where people are hurting. Don't give them air.
