Why hasn't a main stream jounalistic reporting website not reported this event? Something is odd here

This video popped on in my queue yesterday by comedian Mike Polk talking about the Cleveland Browns. He refers to the stadium as a Factory of Sadness.

Andy Pollin's final broadcast on ESPN 630 DC aired today after more than thirty years in Washington D.C. sports radio. He was a significant presence, having helped launch The Team 980 in 1992 and working alongside Tony Kornheiser for many years. Pollin was known for his candid commentary on the local football team, even when the station was under different ownership. He previously freelanced for other local stations before his tenure at Cumulus Media. The company has recently implemented layoffs across multiple markets.

The recent exterior update to the local branches feels like a downgrade. The original red brick was simple and traditional. The new grey repaint makes the buildings look washed out and sterile rather than modern. It is disappointing. Lifeless. Just like the company itself.

This site addresses many groups but overlooks the one that has always been, and remains, in charge, the Anglo Alliance. They dictate both the culture and its declining quality, contributing nothing of substance while speaking white.

Their individualistic cuddle culture makes them hyper-sensitive to their own emotions, yet they still preach nationalistic sermons of teamwork. They target DEI, H1Bs, and non-Anglos for their own failures, excused by therapists who tell them it is not their fault.

Where is the Anglo self-accountability that their own self-help books supposedly encourages.

For those that don't know, CUSA is surrounded by woods and open space. The area has lots of wildlife. Fox, geese, and others. All those working there have never had issues with this. Wildlife happens. Enter CFS. Decoy coyotes are now ALL OVER the parking lot and building. Being randomly and regularly moved by the new security guy that CFS apparently demanded we employ. CFS are soft, overly privileged, and clueless. I can't with them. I wonder if they know about the wildlife with no legs that get into the building or the 2 legged varieties that call the river bank "home".

Does anyone know if there is an area in the internal contractor system for feedback/comments and also how long after a contractor leaves can a Manager add something to it, or does it close indefinitely within a day or so once a contractor leaves?

1) LFI moves out of PS into tech dev- core vs implementations
2) let go all core teams -what’s a core product?
3) acquired a new company to replace current product - but RIF
4) change operational structure to implementations to operate as the core teams would - LFI has clients therefore cannot act like agile core team
5) tech dev middle managers -are client billable and are lead BA’s but let go
6) other middle managers are driving staffing, operations, de-escalations, project kickoffs, etc- highly intelligent plan must be in place

D1 LFI moves out of professional services to tech dev- how is implementations part of tech dev?
They create value streams - which no one understands.
They act like implementations are core team and change everything to d1 teams to operate as such- do they know we have actual clients therefore cannot operate the same as a team developing core product.
Impacted teams IN every round of RIF yet client expectations increase.
Now they layoff tech dev middle managers - multiple that are 100% billable and are the lead BA’s on projects. The other few are driving LFI initiatives and making sure d1 implementations are staffed, operational, handle non stop client escalations.

Dan will never get stock price to $75. Verizon is $175 billion in debt, paying $8-$9 billion per quarter in interest payments. Not only that, technology is moving fast, which means the next telco displacing newcomer is waiting on the wings. Verizon is paying today for 20 years of bad investments. No amount of inflation will save them from bad debt and investments, especially since cellular plan prices have gone down and increased data to unlimited. If you adjust today’s telco charges to inflation, not good for Verizon, even if it helps the debt burden.

Anyone who is familiar with the dunces unable to write more than a sentence for themselves recognise the telltale signs. Stuff like repeated use of "It's not X, it's Y". Explains why he says so much, yet there's so little substance.

Every time I scroll through LinkedIn, I see the same carefully curated posts about how great everything is. It's like reading propaganda. Nobody who actually works here believes any of that cr-p.

what a useless thing again

So we were told today we’re only get 2.5% increase this year. That won’t even touch the inflation we’ve all faced over the last couple of years. This is crazy.

How much is Carelon/Elevance paying these offshore employees to positively comment on their carelon expeirence on their last day? It’s non stop and it makes me want to gag.

I’ve just grown tired of every webpage on every website trying to sell something. I get that it has to be monetized. I don’t mind ads, the hidden code and scripts to download cr*p just makes the experience lousy. Started getting “potential malicious software” warnings from my browser on the Anthem page here. First my job tries to pull something over on me, now this site. I guess when it’s my turn to get an opportunity to pursue other endeavors I won’t need this site either. The whole world’s just becoming sad all over.

Last week at Broadcast Asia "people" were blabbering that Synamedia would merge with Kaltura. Anyone else hearing this? Any Schleppers care to comment. -even though it is Saturday.

Does anyone else think the “ letter to your younger self” posts look like funeral cards for children. Every time I see one scrolling LinkedIn i gasp for a second. Probably getting people’s attention - just not sure it’s in the right way.

Some of y’all really need to grow up. Layoffs happen, it’s never personal. No-one at the top has specifically chosen you to go for any reason other than a number. FIS doesn’t owe you anything to keep you.

300$ million sounds like a really high number and not adequately explained by recent Converse and DC actions, IMO. point being the upcoming purge is going to be big!

Those days Cisco file lawsuits against Huawei and Arista, Cisco thought it was too good.

Huawei now has a chip that is already 1,300 faster than the best chip out of NVIDIA, never mind Huawei has beeter phones than Apple. Of course networking equipment from Huawei.

Arista been eating up Cisco’s lunch within last 10 years, Even Arista is already out of date in current technology landscape.

I am old. I have worked at Micron for 25 years as an engineer and i am american. They never let me go. I badge in and badge out. i think its bad workers who get let go and use age as an excuse
