Alfonso just done an All hands. What a confusing All hands and a load of cr-p.

I’m listening to the AI session and the BOAs and FAs are absolutely unhinged 😂 It’s honestly hilarious and kind of refreshing how funny everyone is. At one point someone asked, “Can Copilot tell people to mute their phones?” and I lost it.

Here we go again!

I heard this was a sign for layoffs. I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope it's me this time

If you could ask any question what would it be?

It’s midweek. All Hands. The higher ups are ranting and raving about how great of a year we had. How well the company performed. How it’s all “due to our hard work and our commitment to ensuring a great client experience”. Then… the Q&A starts

The inevitable, quarterly question about pay comes up. Management scoffs and gives the same tired answers they always do, smiling because that “hard work” benefits them way more than it does us. “If you want better pay, get promoted”, they say. Work harder, get better reviews each year. Go above and beyond, that’ll make things better.

The kicker is: that’s all bullsh-t.

I’ve been here 8 years. Tried my very best for 6 of those. Got exceeds, got promoted, got licensed, dragged my a-s to the office almost every single day during RTO to sit on VIRTUAL teams meetings, and guess what… it’s always 2-4% merit increases. I half assed it last year, still did pretty well, but basically stopped working myself to the bone for self preservation. Guess what? 2-4%.

Bonus? Pretty much the same as last year accounting for the slight increase in base pay.

Promotions don’t seem to be available now. New hires get paid more than I do. The job market su-ks, I keep looking. I keep my job because I need stability to take care of my family.

My boss plays favorites and low performing ‘personalities’ get better raises because they make people laugh and pick up food during work hours.

This isn’t just a Schwab issue, but an endemic struggle for all who shoulder the palanquins of corporate America. Prices keep going up. Wages barely increase and the rich get richer.

I want to find that spark again. I want to love what I do and strive to perform at my best, but it’s so damned hard when either way… it’s 2 to fu--ing 4%…

As a shareholder, I was incensed that we are paying this je-k to waste our time.
As an employee, I am just embarrassed to see yet another incompetent buddy of the CEO ramble on with no clue and no actionable plan.
He had 45 minutes to inspire. Instead, he went long and ran out of time while he scrawled 10 unbelievably simple and dated management claptrap slogans on a whiteboard as if they were the 10 commandments.
Please wrestle the red marker from his hands and have Dan give him a big hug as he sends him off with a $4M check, just like the last guy.

The All Team invite is for early March. Usually it's around 4/20. Is this a planned morale band-aid after more layoffs 2/26, are they preparing to announce something, or am I reading too much into everything for JE signs...

Funny how a DEI question was asked about female execs and all the male execs on the stage struggled to answer 😄

Anyone else is disappointed by All- Hands..
I have started feeling like that there is actually no real plan.. it’s all smoke and mirrors..

Dan did not talk about any solid plan and Now Alfanso did not talk any real plan or strategy to execute his grand vision.

What did we just witness?

Even senior leaders appear unable to credibly defend the current direction. All-hands meetings lack conviction, and there is a widespread belief that employees are being financially and professionally constrained with little effort to soften the message.

This company isn't even capable of running an all hands

If we hadn’t wasted so much time talking about AI, he could have actually covered the important points he ran out of time for.

And another thing , why are people in here celebrating someone getting fired? Sampath! That says a lot about your character.

Paying 100% STI was the bare minimum. Anything less would have been flat out disrespectful after laying off 15,000 people.

At this point, just let AI write my year end performance review.

Why is he beating around the bush and wasting time?

Same old? Or will there be some major news? Maybe RTO requirements will be more lax?

Will tomorrow's webcast be some type of announcement, or just the usual All Hands kickoff for the year?

Confirmed layoff next week before the All-Hands. Have now heard it from multiple sources in my organization. Don’t know the scale but know 2 members on my team that are impacted.

Very disappointing, I hope I get selected honestly. I’ve been meaning to leave for a while and it would force change in my career.

Ya'll lapped up the pink Kool-Aid like it was champagne. Ya'll believed Legere when he said TMO would "be job-positive from Day 1" after they gobbled up Sprint. Truth is they started laying off on Day 1.

Here is what I heard from today`s Town Hall:

• EBIDTA is at a great level (90% of the employees doesn`t care, or have no idea what that is.)
• We should be very happy for the shareholders, as they will receive a min. 10$ divident / share.
• How nice that the colour of the 2 logos are matching.
  No mention of the employees, when will they advise on leadership, new responsibilities, or just acknowledging the frustration we have. At least they should say they are working on it and will be shared soon, or giving some justification for the hold up.

What a sad joke. We can't even run a zoom call.

Confirmed massive layoffs happening after the new year. Up to 40% of collab, 25% of sales, 50% of security and 20% of data center will be notified between January 7th - 10th.
G2 quote from All hands meeting: "We must capitalize on growth areas going into Q1 and Q2 26, unfortunately radical measures must be taken to accomplish our business goals with the emerging use of AI. It is not easy to make this decision, but we must let people go"

Managers have warned us to start looking for other positions.

Everything that was said in that stupid meeting could have been said in an email. Your employee survey feedback su-ked and you still don’t get it!! Just hold more meetings to see why and how convenient no time for Q&A!! No mention of the 401k cuts.

After laying off over 2000 employees in 2025, we were notified in an all hands meeting near the end of November that they were done with cuts "for the rest of the year." During an IT All Hands meeting in December, Brian announced that we should expect a 25-40% reduction in staff due to AI implementation (which they strongly pushed on everyone).

Will there be more RIFs ?

Compensation and reward always appears as a negative in your voice feedback. Is there a plan to address this ?

I have never seen this site so much silent. No new topics since long or people have stopped posting. Seems company is doing well. I think yesterday was good employee meeting focused on a lot about members & employees.

Heard a rumour that the whole all employee call this week is going to be created by AI to show everyone what it can do…can’t wait to see if this is true

The all hands on Monday were being nothing burgers. They did not say anything new. They sent an email with the changes then schedule an all hands over a week later to say the same thing? This is why VZ fails. Redundant and inefficient. Bet Friday’s call will be the same. It’s evident that things will not change. Dan the hatchet man is that, the hatchet man and will sadly pass it off to Scampath who will continue to tank the company. Leave while you can. VZ will not survive this 13k RIF. Culture, morale is dead there’s no coming back from losing trust in your people.
