Has anyone received an email about the badge being deactivated before layoffs discussions? Several teammates have received an email stating the badge has been deactivated and when they speak with their leader the leader doesn’t answer any questions.
Trim Ryan’s Thursday Email mentions more layoffs
When will this be over damn it?
Everyone is moaning about Jane F raise in pay. Don’t forget the stock awards.
Factor in that too as you mull over possibly being let go. Don’t forget, we are better together, unless of course you are let go, then you are on your own. . “Citigroup Chief Executive Jane Fraser has been elected as chair of the bank's board and... — read more
What to do in current situation?

CEO Raise while staff cut
What a real win for Jane. Citibank cuts staff for raises to the top executives. No one knows including the entire department. You just vanish after 10 years and they say nothing. While Jane received a $41 million dollar pay day. I certainly... — read more
How big does your yacht have to be?
Having worked here for a number of years we've all heard of the "restructuring" BS that has people in a constant wave of panic. Even though I am upset at how I was laid off, ultimately I'm glad and think this can help me in the future. Useless MD/D &... — read more
Management isn't telling their teams anything
Got RIF'd, 60 day garden leave, standard 2 weeks for every year, blah blah blah. I have (former lol) coworkers calling me asking me where I am, asking if I can help with X or Y when I'm "back from vacation." Seems like management isn't telling their... — read more

Russia charge

Jane is laughing her @ss off every time her direct deposit hits.
22% raise while the masses get ran off to pay for it. Every single employee is a pawn, a commodity to be used traded and discarded at will. You are no more to her than stapler. AI promises were made and it did not work out. It will eventually but... — read more

I refuse to believe that layoffs are happening today.
After all in the past few weeks there’s been rebuttal after rebuttal of naysayers heckling the h*ll out of anyone who said that it’d not take place. It’s all a figment of your imagination.

Lay off logic
I'm a Manager and I have had to lay off top raters over low performers because the leader has a vision. I can tell you, ratings have some sway but ultimately no one is safe from the shoulder tap. Keep your options open.
Running Citi into the ground
They cut and cut and cut, and somehow expect things to keep running smoothly. It doesn't work that way. This company could be great, but leadership is ki-ling it one layoff at a time.
Staying far too long
After decades in the workforce, I thought I’d seen it all, until my time at Citi. I stayed way longer than I should’ve, missing the signs while the culture kept getting worse. The amount of spin and dishonesty up the chain was unreal. Looking back... — read more
