Who has had their hours cut a week before belk is having a job fair again?

With all the layoffs and closings, you'd think we didn't have money for such escapades, right?

Belk’s workplace culture is antiquated and old school, as is the customer base. The customer base is dying. Literally. Belk’s customers are kicking the bucket and there is nobody to replace them.

The disorganization, the conflicting priorities, and the complete lack of direction make it seem like I'm watching a ship take on water and keep sailing anyway. Is this just how all corporations work? Because if so, we're in trouble.

I feel as if this company has lost all credibility and respect. It’s become a laughing stock of the retail industry. I’m sorry folks, that’s just how I feel at this point.

Be mindful that some employees are carrying undercover cameras on them and recoding workplace infractions. Belk can be liable for these workplace violations.

Don Hendricks, Leah Bangs, Tom Harvey, Thomas Ghea if these four people left Belk or better yet, were removed and replaced with new compitent executives, Belk may actually start to thrive.

Leave belk off resume…unless you have a huge gap in years….other big box retailers (mostly all clothing retail) will not even interview a person with belk on their resume. Belk is considered the red head stepchild of the retail world.

what is the new rewards program for belk charge cards, it will start in august or september but belk is being tight lipped about it. some are saying it will be less rewards and customers will have a 39% interest rate.

If you work for belk don’t drink the kool-aid served by upper management and executive leadership, people of a certain age will understand this reference.
