Now that the week is over, I'm just trying to figure out how long exactly it took to wrap things up. Just to be better prepared for the future.

A coworker who got laid off is one of the best people we had. He always got perfect reviews and everyone respected him. If they can just let someone like that go, then it's clear that none of our jobs are secure. That reality is hard to ignore.
