Unionize

Repost:

If all of us do it, will they fire us all? Ai isn't ready yet and H1B's will have to be trained to do the role. In the mean, we could get a union to negotiate? Sign up and let’s all walk on Monday 11/10/25! - https://www.joinifpte.org/tech

Strike or maybe Unionized

Strike or Unionized

U.S. employees are being displaced with offshore workers and/or artificial intelligence. It’s UnAmerican and unconscionable.

Perhaps the only way this can be stopped is if US employees (not in leadership roles) unite and demand changes immediately.

And maybe it is time for Healthcare workers to become unionized.

Strike

Morale is horrible across the board. Unless you’re in leadership or close with someone who is, you’re on your own. U.S. employees are treated like they don’t matter, while offshore teams get better support, flexibility, and recognition. It’s discouraging and unsustainable- and yet no one seems to be able to stop it. US employees (not in leadership roles) need to unite and demand changes immediately.

What if we all band together and refuse to work if anyone gets laid off?

Serious question. What happens if we are able to organize a strike so that none of us works if even one of us gets laid off? They need us to work. They can’t afford to lose all of us. We can stop the layoffs if we band together!! Enough is enough!

Strike Voluntold

We were told today that if they don't get enough volunteers for strike relief that management will do a mandatory selection. How is it that they can tell non-union employees that they have to travel and work outside of their home state and cross union lines. Is management within their right to fire employees if they don't volunteer. There is even talk of volunteers being shielded from an upcoming RIF. This all just sounds a little too nuts to be true, doesn't it?

Kaiser laying off 216 workers, deepening tensions amid nurses’ labor talks

Kaiser Permanente is laying off hundreds of workers across California, further deepening tensions with its union of 31,000 nurses that is preparing a five-day strike beginning next week.

In an Oct. 6 letter filed with the state’s Employment Development Department, Kaiser’s Human Resources Director Christine Neubauer said that the Oakland-based health care provider began notifying 216 workers of their layoffs starting Sept. 17.

New Verizon ceo just in time for contract no coincidence

Listen this new CEO was brought in to cut management, cut costs and raise stock prices .This is no coincidence he was brought in right as the merge with frontier which has contracts and the largest current contract up in August that they could not agree on an extension. So for the union people too this is no blessing !!!I believe the board saw Hans as too sympathetic to the Unions as Europe is .So I would now confidently say get ready for a long protracted Strike .The unions are too behind eight ball CWA IBEW to realize this was another strategic move by the VERIZON BOARD.McAdams 2.0 coming in .Any associate not starting to realize where this is headed in next few months and stop suk in the management in the fios back room deserves what’s next but is out weakest link open your eyes leadership/membership

What if we just riot

Like not to harm anyone or destroy anything obviously.
But what if we just actually grab all of our collective ba--s and then don’t show up to work one day or don’t go into the office. Like we need to stop being such fu--ing cowards and actually do something but it’ll only work if it’s everyone on board. No boot lickers allowed

Pay Rise Networks Strike

Were raising the profile again to others, join us, we used to get rises every year on time in AT&T. These lot are just a bunch of jokers, they dont even communicate or hold town halls now. They said August rises and now we are nearly in October. Everyone join our strike until they listen!

Why does this company hate its employees?

CVE is run by arrogant corporate snakes. They are making money hand over fist. They don’t need to layoff. Employees are a necessary evil until they’ve used you for what they need. Everyone is out for themselves at CVE - they don’t trust you and you can’t trust them. Laying off a bunch of hard working people and arrogantly saying you will just “do less”. I’ve never seen such id--tic things. Is this company real or a nightmare? #USW #Strike #2026

Good Call on the Strike

https://www.reuters.com/business/world-at-work/boeing-defense-plans-replace-striking-workers-with-new-hires-2025-09-04/

They are so critical they can't be replaced...oh wait, they can and will be replaced.

Union mentality is the gift that keeps on giving.

Just spoke to NJ Transit unemployment office

So not that I wish it but I did contact NJ police unemployment office!!So they gave a ton of info ,but advised as a technician if we went on strike we would absolutely be able to collect the max weekly amount of $ 900 a week !!If they had management or contractors trying to fill our jobs as in the past we would not have a waiting period it would be immediate collect. So just planning on getting things in order paying some stuff saving some money along with preparing for the worst hoping for the best !One things for sure it is a big relief now that we finally have the right in nj to collect when on strike
