Disgusted and frustrated EVPs and SVPs. Please chime in and help your hard working associates

Please please chime in and share some info here. When is the next big RIF that we will bombarded with while the mafia Frankenstein and his minion gang will savor an expensive drink over the rocks in their mansions watching associates and their families getting devastated already struggling to put food on the table !!! Shame on Frank B. and his fcky minions - you all shall be imprisoned. Karma will chase you down , wait and watch.

HP/Poly

HP/Poly is undergoing a significant restructuring, resulting in extensive layoffs that notably affect senior and higher-compensated roles. This strategic shift carries a substantial risk of eroding trust with key customers, partners, and channel stakeholders, potentially impacting Poly's market position and service delivery.

Departner

I'm in New York this week and a friend of mine works at Goldman and said in their model they "departner" people every few years. That way you don't have someone with a nothing job making millions of dollars. If Jones is serious they will look at that. It would have prevented all the "retirements". Too many people without real jobs adding nothing who are millionaires off the backs of everyone else.

LinkedIn Names Have been Named

Several C-levels called out by name on LinkedIN for bad customer service.
Not the first time.
WE know that they never cared about employees, even less than customers.
Difference is, you can't fire customers. But THEY can fire YOU and claim FRAUD.
Sooo, WHICH C-level will put his tool belt on, and fix this thing, because they know everything better than anyone else?
Oooor, ANSWER the PHONE (gasp) in a call center that has yet another WHINING customer on the phone?
Ooor, claim 'isolated incident' caused by disgruntled ex-employees?
Ooor, [Insert spin here].
Let the screaming (or laughs) begin..

Interesting speakers at this week’s leadership powwow

So all the Big Swinging D!cks got together this past week to figure out how to get rid of more people or whatever and they had a bunch of guest speakers talk leadership to them. Interesting list:

  1. Andy Jassy - who runs a company notorious for sweatshop practices in the warehouses and highly political PIP and stack ranking culture for management.
  2. Marissa Meyer who basically took Yahoo out back and shot it after she took over - though granted it was already in deep sh!t but she certainly didn’t help.
  3. Steve Ballmet. Yes he built a nice arena for the Clippers but MSFT stock took off after he left and his Clippers are implicated in potentially one of the worst NBA salary cap avoidance schemes in decades. Apparently he and Stankey were having a grand old time according to my VP.

And these people were telling our leaders how to lead. Watch out over the next few weeks

Does code of conduct apply to senior management? Asking for a friend

I got a notification to do the code of conduct training. From memory one of the things included in this training is about treating people with respect. Am wondering if Jane directs and MDs have to take this training.
