So I am going thru a background check and am wondering what information is shared on things like ADP employment information to my new employer, the work number, etc. Will it show every job title I had at XOM? I omitted one lame role I had and replaced it with the previous role I had (2 years).

I know VOE only shows last job title held and start/end date, but will XOM share every job title I had on my background check? Thanks in advance!

My calendar is empty, emails have ceased, all that’s left this week is the odd Slack message from a colleague asking if I’ve heard anything. On the one hand, I would love to have it end on Thursday so I can just get on with my post VZ life. On the other, I would love to stay and see what Dan has in store for the re-invented Verizon. My biggest fear is waking up Friday and attending a mtg with VZ leaders telling us to get back to business as usual work. That’s my biggest nightmare - VZ has far too many people doing work that doesn’t matter. I’d love to stay if something changes, but honestly don’t think it’s possible.

So Sr Directors were notified today and ADs and below will be notified Thursday. Does that mean Directors are notified tomorrow or Wednesday? Or maybe Directors Tuesday and ADs Wednesday?

Anyone familiar with previous instances of corporate -> indirect transition timelines? With this large of scale I’m assuming it’s going to take a few months of wave rollouts but I could be mistaken.

Not sure if this still works as I left the firm around a year ago to work for a fully remote brokerage (best decision in my career)… After someone gets laid off, their department changes in their profile to LABOR DECISIONS for 60 days before it deactivates. In outlook you can just search the keyword “LABOR” under department in the global contact list and leave everything else blank, and the list of all recently laid off employees will populate. Sometimes it takes a couple days after the layoff for it to update. Have fun!
