They keep milking the cash cow. Training budgets slashed , only new employees are allowed to attend now. Oil changes at 7500 miles . Credit card $ charges limited. No safety meeting meals. When will it ever stop ?

We lost half the team months ago and somehow the amount of work didn't change. The people left behind are just expected to cover everything now.

You get through one round of cuts and immediately start wondering when the next one will happen. There's never enough time between layoffs to actually feel secure. This is our reality.

Is it going be mandatory performance cuts in October like Meta or do we wait until winter? Ryan’s message indicated it will be in the “coming years and quarters”, which implies one’s definitely happening between now and next summer.

We can’t staff the projects that management wants to go fast yet there is pressure to reduce headcount in Houston! The Horizon challenge will only get worse. Even the teams that are staffed are full of people who don’t know how to get things done.

NVIDIA would never move to reduce its revenue-per-head (RPH). Our executives should not be offended. It’s not practical to compare Dell RPH to NVIDIA. Server production (and rest of Dell portfolio) in a predominantly direct-sales model will always yield higher operational cost than chip manufacturing in an alliance/OEM model.

MD should be proud of the massive company and portfolio of products he built. Dell ranks only slightly below median RPH compared to similar businesses.

The long-term strategy (and legacy) would be to treat employees well. Don’t go down like this MD.

Are they usually in the morning or any time of day?

A lot of experienced people have either left or been pushed out, and everyone remaining is being asked to pick up more work. The pay doesn't feel like it reflects how much is being demanded from us. Customers are noticing the problems, which only adds more pressure internally. It's a mess all around.

Has ANYTHING good come of the changes in April? I sit in meetings all day where nobody knows direction, people can’t start a new role because nobody realized their old role was actually important, or nobody wants to be here.

We cut people, teams, domains, and now what? Tech is just an enabling function. We are not builders, drivers, or cutting edge. We cannot even get enablement right anymore. That’s how far we have fallen.
