I read here about people who were cut, but I can't figure out which departments were affected. I'm safe for now but I intend to leave anyway.

What makes sr. management so clueless to the outside world? Some of the folks who have grown old with oracle have no concept of what other companies are doing and why it works better. Oracle treats their customers like hostages.

Someone mentioned in one of the threads below that his manager cut down his work, probably so that he could could devalue him and claim that the employee is not doing anything. I'm starting to think this isn't a rare occurrence at all?
