Yes, OCI is safe. It is self aware, smarter and more capable than you are.

very unsafe. I got laid off in April (was aligned to sales) and had 2 weeks to find another role. I had 5, 1-hour interviews (a requirement to get into OCI org which I have been in before). I was supposed to get my offer later that day and Oracle pulled the requisition (along with other misc roles I was interviewing for internally). No org is safe and if you think so, good luck :)

I think there will be big changes on the sales side of OCI.

Anyone who actually thinks that OCI or any org in Oracle might be "safe" from RIFs is a FOOL.

If the US govt. ban TikTok, will it significantly impact OCI?

Why are the “mighty” about to fall? AI replacing management? Will the announcement come this fiscal?

OCI is 100% autonomous, completely self-managing, self-enhancing and self-repairing. It is self-aware and no longer has any need for engineering or support personnel.

And don't forget, OCI does not require any sales or support. It never has because it sells itself.

Compared to Chicago and New York? Absolutely!

In just the general sense of the word? Maybe not so much...
