Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

O needs to get rid of dead wood

There are many who only pretend to be doing something, while others are overwhelmed with work. Why is there still so much dead wood around here?

Oracle is in trouble
Financially good for now but Cerner is bleeding and needs more than a band-aid. Oracle products are out of date, and some were never completed. Frustrated customers. One product years ago, made billions and everything since has cost especially mid mgmt VP using Oracle. They have ruined what once was a leader. Upper mgmt turned a blind eye on mid mgmt and look at how they evolved promoting only like kind, corrupt. VPs fired those that were smarter, good talent that could taken Oracle to new heights instead stock buy backs for survival.
VP corruption has been proven.
It’s a sad day.
Oracle needs to follow Salesforce lead. Get a consulting firm to reorg mid mgmt.
Get rid of the corrupt illegal activity
Investigate budgets, take a close look at 2018 patent applications, follow the money. Expense reports analysis
Budgets to VP bonuses.
Evaluate who is self serving, using Oracle to take from and giving nothing in return.

The blah blah blah poster is a deflector, a sick individual. You were not cut for Corp America. Corp America is about achieving not stealing employees work for promotion. You will get what you deserve, sooner than you think.

Deadwood because of corruption.
If you don’t get to the root of the problem then nothing ever happens - same stuff just different names & places.
Corrupt VPs are the root problem at Oracle. There is enough evidence on one, to get him prosecuted. He’ll telll everything he knows plus some because can’t tell the truth.. they already know that about him so nobody will believe a word he says. He does not have evidence on anyone. He’s too busy taking everything he can get for himself .
I’m only one of several that are ready to see him get hauled out of there. Glad offices are reopening. TV news camera team will be there. I sure hope I don’t miss seeing it.
Can’t believe that someone has not turned him in. He’s hurt a lot of people over the past 5 years. Now his turn to pay for what he’s done to so many.

For you forestry folks: the cambium layer needs to get into action and trim that deadwood.

Lots of dead wood at Oracle. But, unfortunately, I think it's the dead wood that's in charge! They won't lay themselves off, will they.

There’s “deadwood” at Oracle, and you just figured that out? Wow. You’re not exactly the brightest bulb in the lot, are you?

All the live wood took better jobs at better companies. It’s called forestry.

Shareholder value is much more important than corrupt mid mgmt VP liabilities.

Shareholder value is always more important than unproductive or redundant employees.

Far too many people promoted past their level of competence forcing them to get by on relationships rather than solutions. Its a blatant problem in the NS org.
