I can't wait to leave. Is it just my impression, or is micromanagement in general here worse now than ever?

Good I checked this post. I just assumed it was my manager who turned from a sweet person to a nightmare over the years. Looks like it's more common.
No micromanaging here in CX apps. Products aren’t selling and we’re losing customers fast. More about self preservation at this stage while we look for better jobs.
It is crazy what they are asking people to do that have not been compensated in years. 75% of my team in coast mode.
Its pretty bad, but I'm not sure if it was always like that. There are so many self interested people attempting work, doing it poorly or rushing it through and delegating it to someone else. Now I know what you are thinking... "it's like that everywhere" but it really really isn't. People with general poor performance don't make it to management ranks at other companies. Far too many people at oracle were promoted past their level of competence.
Yeah, it is not for everyone.
