I already have a new job and it came with a 30k raise. There is life after Oracle and it looks much better than in the past.

Congratulations! Yes there is a better life after Oracle. There are jobs out there for those that are looking. When we don’t know what to do or where to go, we have to do what is right & good for ourselves & others. Prepare. Ask. And, it will come.

Unfortunately, I have no friends at startups. I always thought that I would be a good person to work at a startup, but won't be happening for me. Glad you got a great raise, hope the job works out for you.

The negativity at Oracle is insane.
The id--ts that Lord over so many are pathetic. Can’t wait to hear when they get what they deserve.
Been looking since August CX layoffs, no luck yet. Feeling pretty worthless.
Laid off 2 weeks ago. Had a feeling it was coming so started interviewing 6 weeks ago. Same title but OTE is going up over $100k. Scary times but there’s something positive on the other side
I had a bad day a few months back, sent out some feelers and i got an interview at each of the 10+ places i applied for. Eventually taking the best offer and getting the he-l out of oracle. Stay positive folks, the work outside is much better than inside. There are far too many people out of touch at oracle. The industry has quite simply left them behind.
